This LCD is terrible. Very unrealistic colors, even if I change the color profiles. And after restart of computer, the LCD changes for the original color. If set the LCD to a specific profile, it looks OK e.g. for viewing pictures, photos, but the colors of icons in Windows look completely differently that I am used to. If I set the color profile that is more-or-less acceptable for Windows icons, it looks unrealistic for the photos - pictures... Unfortunately I did not time to return LDC to the shop a request money back....In the past I have had many computers, LCDs, and notebooks and I have never had to set "color profiles". But this LDCs is terrible....

I bought this monitor and I am bitterly disappointed with the image quality. I also have various laptops and an 8 year old ACER Monitor all of which are far superior!!Firstly the colours out of the box are all wrong, yellows look green!! reds look orange, after many hours of internet research and adjusting settings managed to get decent colour but the text on documents is never sharp. Towards the sides of the monitor the image dims so the led is not uniform and the viewing angle is terrible. I have an ASUS ROG Strix Laptop and the image quality is fantastic, what has ASUS done with this monitor that it is so bad. It also hurts my eyes after a very short period of time, never had this before.

I'd like this monitor ASUS TUF Gaming VG279Q1R with FullHD resolution, 27" diagonal and ips matrix. This a gaming model, there us a 144 Hz refresh rate and response time is 5 ms. Also I'd like a good characteristics of picture, good colours setting and quality picture

I was having trouble with my old monitor not allowing COD Vanguard to load (don't ask, but it's a thing). I was looking for 2 things - IPS and high refresh rate. At the time of purchase it was only $10 more than the similar 144mhz so I just went with the minor upgrade. I am very pleased with it, no flickering or stuttering. I use the Display port and Freesync.
Used to use a 144hz monitor from Acer (?) to play shooters and other video games, but the clarity and speed are nowhere as good as this monitor. I really like the quick visual presets for FPS, RTS, Racing, etc. - I feel like they actually do help make the important things more clear. And it seems like the Sync option works with my GTX1070, although I'm not sure if G-Sync was advertised in the product or not. Overall great purchase, especially at this price.
If you in the market for a gaming monitor that won't break the pockets I recommend this one. Only reason being is I have been using Asus for years but due to me playing with my Beebe gun in the house like a big kid lol I broke my last one. And I was going to go get it fixed but figured I go get a newer one. I came across the TUF monitor by Asus reviewed all the specs and decided I was going to buy it and for $200 bucks you can't beat that for a great quality monitor. I'm a gamer so a monitor means a lot when it comes to gaming. It's bigger than my second monitor but doesn't affect its performance thing keeps up without any delay or lag in my gaming and its clear. Even has hidden features when you mess around with the settings. I say bite the bullet and get this its ... I have had this monitor for about 3 weeks now, and I can definitely say that it's a very good monitor for under 200USD. However, the IPS glow on this monitor is somewhat harsh, and the white balance sadly underperforms compared to what acer offers for the same price. If you're looking into getting the best display out there, there are definitely other choices, however, if you want what is probably the best deal, then this monitor as of the time I'm writing this, is the best deal yet.
Got this monitor to up my gaming with a higher refresh rate. This 144hz monitor performs great. The graphics are impressive. I have an ASUS nvidia graphics card and another ASUS Tuf gaming monitor I have had a couple of years. All of my ASUS products are the highest of quality, truly plug and play, and never have issues.
Its a nice budget gaming monitor, the panel is fast and clear in motion. However the view angles are really poor for an IPS display there are noticeable slight colour changes with smallish head movements, out of the box colours are not great either. The joy stick controls is welcome but what isn't is no other buttons not even an on / off. The menu is also locked when there is no signal meaning you can't change things like the input without a signal. If you change it to an unconnected input you have to wait till it auto switches back before you can do anything. The lack of options for the stand is also pretty poor.At CHF 200+ its way too expensive but on a sale its a compelling buy
I wanted something I could put in the car to give me a larger than laptop display for months of time spent on travel. The box this comes in is small compared to most monitor boxes. The display itself assembles quickly and disassembles just as easily for repacking. For me this is working well as a travel monitor.I still like the 48" one I have at home better, but that larger display would not pack, fit, or survive a lot of car travel. This monitor works for me.
