Not a horribly bad compromise between cost and performance but not outstanding either. It is a largely a collection of mediocre parts such as the LCD display not being particularly bright or readable at angles. The WiFi adapter card is almost obsolete to Win11 straight out of the box. I was aware before purchasing, but some may get caught out by the RAM being soldered on board and no further expansion available. Some good points though... the RAM is DDR5 running at a healthy 5500MT/s, the AMD Ryzen 5 7520U cpu is plenty fast and power efficient for a non-gaming laptop and the Samsung SSD is not bad too. The biggest annoyance was the extreme bloat/spyware courtesy of unwanted Microsoft, Asus and AMD software siphoning off personal data - way too much "in ya face" ... MoreNot a horribly bad compromise between cost and performance but not outstanding either. Solution was to clean reinstall with a heavily hacked version of Win11 and then several registry hacks to kill off Asus and AMD garbage. Since when did AMD think the drivers had to be bundled with so much crap? The OOBE experience is one of horror and lessens my respect for the product.

The first Asus laptop is a 16 inches laptop that I bought about 9 years ago, which is still functioning and as my main workstation almost everyday. While the 2nd Asus Oled vivibook as a back up when I bought almost 2 years ago. And this new vivobook is for my kid for their tuition & homework use...Beside laptop, I also owned a Asus tablet & 2 Asus mobile devices too.Asus products have a very reliable product quality & outstanding performances, almost no any issue since I use them. That's the reason why I will buy and buy again this brand. If you're looking for a reliable and outstanding laptop for a long-term use, an Asus laptop will be a very good brand to choose.

I’ve been using this laptop for a week now, and it’s been a game-changer. The performance is snappy, handling everything from heavy multitasking to casual gaming without breaking a sweat. The display is crisp and vibrant, making both work and streaming enjoyable. Battery life is solid, easily lasting through a full workday. The keyboard is comfortable, and the trackpad is responsive. Plus, it’s lightweight and portable, perfect for on-the-go use. Overall, it’s a great value for the price—highly recommended for students, professionals, and casual users alike!

Beautiful but....

Beautiful in terms of graphics, colours, visuals but huge a let down for me on two things. The volume even at the highest is not the greatest and the other major issue is the fact that I spent several weeks researching various laptop makes and models before purchasing this one and one of my main reasons for purchasing is because I needed a backlit keyboard. The ad pictures on the retailers website I purchased as well as a Youtube video I saw with the same laptop had a backlit keyboard. Unfortunately that is not the case and I realised too late after registering and writing on the pamphlet that came from the UK retailer so it was non-returnable too, so now I am stuck with it. Any make/model of the same product codes/descriptions/listings should clearly state whether ... MoreBeautiful in terms of graphics, colours, visuals but huge a let down for me on two things. Unfortunately that is not the case and I realised too late after registering and writing on the pamphlet that came from the UK retailer so it was non-returnable too, so now I am stuck with it. Any make/model of the same product codes/descriptions/listings should clearly state whether it has a backlit keyboard and shouldn't vary per country as it is really confusing as a consumer. I hope Asus take heed of this feedback and improve it for the future. The specific product code I am referring to, if anyone is interested is E1504FA-L1669W.

Definitely worth considering!

Laptops come and go - but some hang around... and this is one of those that I think I'll be using for a while. Not only is the physical construction very good - but the computing power also seems to be top class too. I've had no reason to doubt the hardware and Windows 11 runs a treat on this device. So far so good...If I have to be critical of anything - it's that the body shell material is prone to finger marks - it's easy to clean but it does shows smudges more than on other laptops. I guess the benefit of the lightweight materials has to have a downside.I'm loving the OLED screen too - it certainly meets my expectations. The only downside (and this might not be one) is the "risk" of burn-in of the taskbar. I've turned on the option to hide the task bar - which has taken some getting used to - but it's worth it to preserve this magnificent screen. It's vibrant and clear and a delight to use. After a few months of use, I can confidently say I'm satisfied with this laptop. Highly recommended.

Good laptop, but repetative, useless pop up.

The picture is crisp, the colours are perfect and audio quality is very good. The response time when logging in and opening programmes is very fast.Due to my poor eyesight I use my 40" tv screen as my computer screen, along with a wireless mouse and keyboard. My 10 year old tv is not a smart tv and I have to keep my Asus connected to it with an HDMI cord. When I switch to TV watching, I repeatedly get a pop up message informing me that a new external device is connected and do I want to enjoy it. This is incredibly annoying as it blocks the programme I have chosen to watch. There is no way for me to close the pop up or to stop it from re-occuring. I end having to unplug the HDMI until I am ready to use the laptop again. How can I stop seeing this message? My understanding

I’ve been using the **Asus Vivobook Go 15 EF104F-ANJ468WS** for a little over a month, and my experience so far has been generally positive, though with a couple of setbacks. The laptop's performance is solid for everyday tasks like web browsing, streaming, and light productivity work. The **AMD Ryzen processor** paired with 8GB of RAM handles multitasking smoothly, providing sufficient speed for most non-intensive applications. It’s also lightweight and portable, which is a big plus for on-the-go use. However, I did expect it to come with an OLED screen, which was a mistake on my part for not confirming the specs before purchase. Just make sure to thoroughly check the specifications if you're particular about features like display quality.

Very good OLED budget laptop!

Let's get things straight: this is not a flagship laptop or a gaming laptop. The Ryzen chip is good enough for daily tasks or university stuff. The integrated graphics will run Fortnite/Valorant on lower settings, but they're weaker than Vega graphics I suspect. The screen is absolutely amazing for this budget (60hz though) and battery life is really good. This laptop is actually weaker than my former one but that one drived me insane with noise and poor TN panel screen. This laptop is way nicer in terms of battery life, weight, noise, heat and keyboard feels okay. I swapped to the normal version of Win11, I don't like S mode. I'm planning on extending my warranty through Asus. I bought this laptop for £364 on a Black Friday offer and Very pay discount added. Portability and Design: Its lightweight design and portable form factor make it convenient for educators moving between classes or conducting seminars. The sleek design adds a professional touch, making it suitable for administrative meetings or presentations.3. Performance and Multitasking: For everyday tasks like preparing lectures, grading assignments and student outputs, or managing administrative duties, the VivoBook Go 15 OLED performs admirably. Its AMD Ryzen processor and SSD storage facilitate smooth multitasking, allowing me to handle various applications simultaneously without significant slowdowns.4. Connectivity and Compatibility: The laptop's array of ports, including USB Type-A and Type-C, and HDMI, offers compatibility with various peripherals and external devices and is particularly beneficial for dealing with diverse data sources and storage mediums.5. Battery Life: A good battery life ensures uninterrupted productivity throughout the day, which is crucial when having back-to-back classes or meetings. It allows me to work efficiently without constantly searching for power outlets.6. Keyboard and Input: The comfortable keyboard and trackpad facilitate extended typing sessions, which is beneficial for preparing lecture notes or handling documentation.Considerations: However, while the display is a standout feature, the overall performance might not be sufficient for tasks requiring heavy computational power, such as running complex simulations or extensive data analysis. Its balance of features caters well to my diverse needs within the academic environment.
