Uses 3-5W with office work.Sturdy metal chassis (except base).Amazing stylus. Fingerprint reader and backlit white keyboard!Everything is perfect, except the battery life is a bit disappointing. Excellent laptop from a build perspective. Tough as nails. Dropped it accidentally from waist hight onto a concrete floor and it is still working flawlessly. Asus is THE #1 laptop manufacturer bar non. OLED display seems to be pentile though if I'm not mistaken, but it is incredibly bright.
Great laptop for the price, gives a 2k touchscreen with great color reproduction and high refresh rate. The processor is speedy and gets most things done fast, intense gaming may require a dedicated PC though. 8GB RAM is good enough for regularly tasks. Heat is well contained. I noticed that when there’s a Windows update, the PC turns off and needs to be manually/force restarted to show the updating page - not sure if this is only on my PC..otherwise a good machine
It's sleek and the screen is vibrant! I love it because it's easier for me to see and videos are clearer. I have bad eyesight and wear glasses so this is very much what I need. Everything on screen is like a picture.
As to the overall customer service, sales staff were very accommodating and nice, they helped me with the setup of my laptop office, willingly discussed to me the specs and potentials of the vivobook, and even provided me with freebies along with my purchase.As to the product, it is complete and a total package, truly a home/office-friendly, it is very handy, the exterior color is also nice and unique, sound system plus the HD screen pantone validated is superb. What I like most about the laptop is its responsive touchscreen, its rotating and flip feature, at first I thought it can only be flipped landscaped but to my surprise it can also work on a portrait book-style. I have told that what is included in the package is a genuine office, so maybe I have to review it again in the future.Suggestion: If I may add, please have an option that we can buy a laptop complete with protective cases (leather case, keyboard cover, stylus pen case, tempered glass etc.), I am willing to pay for the price, just have it ready/available, so to speak. It's just hassle shopping online, or buy something universal then later worrying that it might not fit the size of the laptop.Thank you. Overall, I love it!!!
This is my third ASUS and it is a joy to use. I had bought a Lenovo and found it lacking. With the ASUS, it was like meeting up with an old friend again. A joy to use. However, when I bought this laptop from Style Vision at The Southkey Mall in Johor Bahru, Upon switching on, I noticed some Lenovo stuff on it and looked like it was switched on before. I am shocked that you have authorized distributors like this. This could be seen as cheating the customers by giving them a "used laptop". I bought this laptop on 17 June 2024 and my warranty ends 31 Dec 2025. So not the full warranty. What a disappointment! ASUS is such a good brand but with authorized distributors like this, it will sully the name of ASUS.
I am fantastically happy with my purchase. However - very disappointed that ASUS did not have the same special or stock, hence I had to buy from Incredible connection. Also, several days later my laptop seemed dead and when I phoned your service line the lady said I had a factory fault and should return the laptop under warranty. On arriving at Incredible connection a very helpful IT technician pointed out that the laptop was simply updating the software and there was no problem. I guess they gave much better service than your apathetic service agent.
"I purchased the ASUS Vivobook S 14 Flip OLED two months ago, and I've had a mixed experience with it. On the positive side, the OLED display is stunning, making visuals truly pop, and the laptop's lightweight design is convenient for portability. It also runs impressively fast with Windows 11.However, I've encountered a significant drawback - I've experienced two instances of the dreaded blue screen error, which required me to force shut down the laptop using the power button. This was quite frustrating and concerning. Additionally, the laptop's battery life fell short of my expectations, and I found myself needing to recharge more frequently than I'd prefer.
