The laptop has an amazing, vibrant, screen. Very helpful thunderbolt slots. The batery is not affected by 'sleep' condition, unlike competing laptops, a very ig plus. Keyboard is good quality. On the negative side, the provided NVME memory crashed and became invalid after two hears of use so i had to pay some.money to replace it and all data were lost. Also lost vonsiderable tome to set up the system. BAttery also somehow deteriorated after 3 yrs of use,but it still provides some good time of operation (4.5 hours if internet is used, more than 6 hours if internet is not used).

Asus ZenBook14One of the lightest notebook I have come across.Very convenient; So light and compact for day to day usage on regards to work or even children online studies.Another best part is the durability of the battery. Generally so far I am able to use it during working hours purposes (especially when traveling “on the go”). There is no need to worry about the sudden “blackout” (no battery) from presenting proposals.Just that the USB 3.2 Type A only has one port. I find it lacking. Because even now adays many gadgets and tech apparatus still uses the USB 3.2 TypeA.We have to get extension to resolve this problem.

This is early days with my new Asus Zenbook 14. I needed a more compact but powerful laptop to take abroad with me as I am often away from home. I have not had the time so far to test this machine with all of my needs and am still in the process of loading up some of my software. Not having a disk drive has meant having to buy a small portable drive as well mainly for loading software. However, once loaded I shouldn't need to have it with me.My particular model does not have a backlit keyboard which I was disappointed with as I had read many reports on the Zenbook 14 which remarked on how good the backlit keyboard was, but when I finally ordered mine, I stupidly failed to check that point on this particular model. So if you are a person who has to work in poor light sometimes remember to check this fact.Otherwise I am extremely pleased with everything else I have tried to date, and with the registration process and back-up offered by Asus. Connection with my existing desk top, scanners and printers, mobile phone etc has thankfully not presented any problems. The Zenbook does seem to be of a high standard for the price paid and pack a good punch in terms of speed, power, and storage. A perfect travelling partner to my Desk top. The start-up process with facial recognition seems almost immediate which is great for retrieving quick answers when needed. So far I would not hesitate in recommending this little gem to anyone on the move.

I hadn't been bothered about Windows Hello before this laptop, and have been won over by how well it works. The keyboard is very good with a nice amount of travel, and the keyboard lighting works very well, as it lights the key tops making them very easy to read. The clever numberpad that enables a numeric keyboard on the touchpad looks good, but I haven't used it as I usually connect the laptop to a screen and keyboard when doing number-crunching.And of course the USB-C connector works perfectly, allowing a single cable to link to that monitor and associated peripherals, whilst charging from the monitor. When not sat at a desk, the laptop is on my lap, and I was concerned whether the Ergolift screen would be uncomfortable on my knees, but it hasn't been a ... Screen is pretty bright, I usually have it on almost the lowest level, although I haven't taken it outside, only used indoors. The only negatives would be it needs two hands to open the screen, maybe the hinge will soften over time, and the front edge and corners on the base could be rounded a little more as they are just a tad too sharp, but these are really minor gripes. I'm getting used to the enter key that is wide but only one key tall.
This laptop has a real premium feel and finish to it. I like that it is only 1.3kg in weight. The processor is really fast with virtually no lag. The battery life is a great feature as is the fast charging functionality. The screen is not the best as it’s not OLED but it is still on the good side. The number pad within the touchpad is a great feature but not perfect and requires very accurate but light touches to work as you want. Given the range of features and the quality of the laptop it is a lot of laptop for the money.
Good Points: Very thin and lightweight with a rigid metal construction. The keyboard doesn't flex under use, and is backlight, the trackpad works great, and the added num-pad functionality of it is useful for data entry. The screen is very bright (Good outdoors), and has excellent colour reporoduction, the speakers are also impressive, with good levels of low and high frequencies. My model has an i3, so naturally performenace doesn't match my workstation, but video streaming, word processing, lighter games and even a linux virtual machine work smoothly, without any significant slowdown. Two USB-C Ports, great for modern docks and dongles. The included USB-C Headphone DAC is powerful and sounds better than most integrated soundcards. This laptop also charges from ... The included USB-C Headphone DAC is powerful and sounds better than most integrated soundcards. This laptop also charges from a USB-C PD Powerbank, which is a plus if you run low on battery.I don't get the claimed battery life, but I like a bright screen, full keyboard backlight and to multitask. I can achieve between 7 and 9 hours, and I am sure I could push this further if needed.Improvement Points: I had an issue with the laptop bluescreening and rebooting when resuming from sleep. Asus support were unhelpful, suggesting a factory reset on a brand-new laptop. I resolved this issue myself by updating the Intel RST Drivers with ones from Intel directly. The metal surfaces on this laptop do pickup fingerprints and dirt easily, and I feel like the areas around the USB ports will get worn over time, as you can expect to sometimes miss the ports.I also notice that my laptop is a bit 'creaky' when handling it, which I would expect from a metal laptop of this class, I just don't like it.I find that the lid doesn't stay shut when I prop the laptop up against something on it's side. This is annoying, as it can wake it up from sleep and lets dust in, I don't know if this is something unique to my laptop, or my usage, but it isn't something that I would bother the manufacture about.
Great laptop overall, I purchased the i7 processor with this laptop and the warranty and it ran very well for the time I had it. The size was very portable and thin so it made it easy to take with me to class and meetings. I ended up only having this laptop for 1 week because the LCD screen stopped working and the pixels were dragging across the screen. I don’t know what happened but this laptop felt kind of fragile and I feel it is better used as a home laptop instead of something you should be taking everywhere with you just because of how thin it is. I ended up getting the ASUS Zenbook 14.5 instead and barely paid anymore so I would recommend this instead.
