Great reel, slightly smaller then a 4000 size shimano. Very smooth drag system and a light reel. Much cheaper then a comparable Shimano or Daiwa one.

Never owned an ATC before but a reel with 9+1 stainless steel ball bearings, a 6.2:1 high speed gear ratio, carbon washer dual drag system and all aluminium rotor and body for $199.99 has to be worth a look. Out of the box the reel feels smooth with very little main pinion gear play. Drag clicker is on the quieter side but not too bad. The reel handle knob is to die for, I actually like it more than my Gomexus handles on my other reels but that's a personal thing. Haven't fished it much so early days as yet but I've been around reels long enough to think this reel is a bargain at this price, time will tell though. Over all looks and feels good ..... worth a crack at these $ I think.
