This is good to use as a second dcdc charger to supply solar for when installing a caravan house battery.Make sure that the solar panels do not have their own mppt unit on them, it will counter act the ATEM unit.ATEM unit came with 10awg main wires and one for the ignition that's a smaller gauge.Attaching different coloured Anderson 50 plugs on input wires, may help prevent incorrect connection.

The unit behaves as expected and the wires and anderson plugs have a quality feel with labels. You can charge either your main battery or 2nd from solar. Battery types are selectable. 25a was the max input amps for my 50ah lithium battery which will run my car fridge for more than 24 hours. Extra anderson plugs were supplied with the charger so I changed the red to a grey anderson, easy fix. To make the unit even better a voltage reading at the 3 anderson plugs would be useful to monitor progress.

Could I get some clarification as to when the fully charged indicator light should go out and at what point the charger should start recharging my Lithium battery please.Sunyee replaced my original purchase as it failed shortly after install.With the replacement DC DC charger the fully charged light goes out at random states of charge and often not until the battery state of charge is well below 50%.In this state with the charger indicating the battery is fully charged, the battery never recharges from either Solar or Alternator.More often than not I have to disconnect/reconnect the battery to force the the charger to start charging again from either source.Original purchased on 23 Feb 2021RegardsRon

Works great. I use it connected to a battery box. Connects with Anderson plug to main starter battery so charges while driving. At camp i use the battery box with 100ah lipo battery connected to solar panel to charge during the day. We use a 70 ltr dual fridge freezer set at -15° and 2° camp fridge,lights, phone chargers and a fan in the main tent set up. And has performed flawlessly over several camping trips ranging from 3 days to 9 days.

Easy to install, and working well.Great budget priced bcdc that works.Installed 2 weeks ago. Charging a 96amp hr AGM. Batt/solar connect.Didn’t have to connect to the ignition.
Good unit. Working well. Love that it has reverse charging but haven't needed it yet. I find the status indicators writing a bit small so hard to see with the unit installed in a battery box in the back of my station wagon.
This is my secondary DCDC charger to use with solar panels and lithium house battery.Make sure the solar panels do not have their own MPPT units connected, DCDC won't pick up a reading if it does.Charged my two lithium batteries easily.DCDC came with 10awg short cables (ACC wire not 10awg).I used coloured Anderson plug for solar wires, to prevent accidental miss connection.
Unboxed the dcdc charger. Found packaging excellent. Fitted the cherger to my 4x4 very easily. Its a very simple set up and have now had it running for approximately a month and it works very well on solar as well as the cars alternator. Charging a 120amh agm battery. With a 40 liter cp fridge running 24/7 awesome little unit.
Very happy with purchase, delivery was very quick, the unit was very well boxed for transit and came with a book of good instructions, we haven't connected it yet but will end of September when we are heading away and will need extra battery power, the DC-DC until will later will connect to a solar panel, a Teck advised it was the best choice. Only 20 amp is good as it will not over charge one battery like bigger ones on the 100amp batteryRegards.John
