I now own 12 pairs of these pants, and have worn them exclusively during my work as a hardwood flooring contractor for the past 18 months. They're comfortable, 30/32's fit perfect (5' 9"/150lbs) and they're built to last. They're not indestructible, but they're well made and I'm very happy with their performance. Plan to buy another batch of 5-6 pairs to refresh my stock soon. I'm a messy guy, so glue and floor finish end up on my pants as I wipe my hands...eventually they're just so covered in stuff they're embarrassing to wear. I've tossed a couple pairs because of this, and I've only "worn out" one pair (wore through the knee) so far.I've tried several pairs of pants that cost 2-3x what these do, and they don't compare. Great value. I just hope Wrangler ... MoreI now own 12 pairs of these pants, and have worn them exclusively during my work as a hardwood flooring contractor for the past 18 months. First, "bad" - Then "good":"Bad": I've routinely destroyed DOZENS of Wrangler cargo pants while wearing them both on-the-job (armed security - lots of walking/physical) and off; hiking, exploring, riding ATVs, and general adventuring. Not to mention yard work and home DIY projects. The "Ripstop" fabric is hit and miss. I'm intimately familiar w/ what real Ripstop fabric can handle, and Wrangler's version is between acceptable/mediocre and totally unsat. Instead of compartmentalizing the rip, it allows it to spread - quickly - horizontally and/or vertically until the pants are fit for the trash. To be fair, more recent pairs seem WAY better quality."Good": I'm so glad I took the time to take a pair of the ATG pants to the dressing room. Before even trying them ... Before even trying them on, it's obvious that the material used is thick, weighty, and strong. There are steel rivets in stress-spots.The fly zipper, while not the go-to rugged standard YKK, doesn't feel weak. Time will tell. Bar tacks and double-stitching where appropriate. Didn't color-run or fade when I washed in warm the first time. Wrinkling doesn't seem to be a factor, at least immediately (I cannot stand wrinkly pants/jeans). Size seems to run pretty true...don't neglect to go up one size of you're an IWB concealed handgun carrier. Loops fit my 1.5", very thick leather gunbelt w/o issue - and - beltloops are located in such a way that AIWB, 3-o'clock, and 4-o'clock/small-of-the-back carry ALL work perfectly well. The knees-- actually, from mid-thigh clear through halfway down the shin is reinforced, double-thick material. Just like the Carhartt (classic duck) jeans (et al), the extra protection can be a real blessing on the job. Wrangler says the knee is "articulated". I didn't really notice. The best part is that you won't have to fork over a $100-bill for these pants. Unless you want two pairs. And you do want two pairs.Time will tell if they stay strong...and I really hope they do!

I've been buying these for several years. The fit is excellent for someone with a thin athletic build. Contrary to an earlier review, the canvasy like fabric appears tuff but doesn't last as long as I think it should. The zipper on the left side is weak and has broken on two different pairs of pants. I'll continue buying because I like the fit but I really wish the fabric was more durable.

I can't say enough good about these pants. First off, I have ALWAYS been a blue jeans guy, and really have not liked wearing "slacks" or "chinos" at all. I have almost always worn Wrangler, so nothing against good old blue jeans, but I am a full time real estate broker who just turned 60 years old, and at times, I need to attend meetings in professional settings, (banks, attorney's offices, etc.) and my specialty is farms and land, so I'm also out in the field a lot. I got a pair of these pants for Christmas this year, and I could not believe how much I liked them. As soon as I put them on, they felt perfectly tailored, like they were made for my body. I'm 5'-10", 185, medium build, so not over weight, but not skinny either. They fit my waist and butt perfect, and they don't sag in the butt during the day. They have a slightly stretchy waist band, which is good, and it is nice and wide so it stays up and will take a WIDE belt. The pockets are deep and cut into the places where you want to put your hands just right, plus there is a "watch pocket" that is really deep and I can keep my folding Schrade knive in it fully, or two spare mags for my .380 cal. There is also a cargo pocket on the left leg that is cut in at an angle that holds my phone perfectly so I don't need a belt clip for the phone. The fabric is just as heavy as denim, but very soft, and feels good against your skin, not scratchy. The seams are double stitched and riveted at the corners and everything about these tells me they will last a long time. Plus the colors are really nice, and they go with everything, so I can look professional in settings where that is expected, but also casual out on the farms I'm selling. Make sure you order the ATG MEN'S REINFORCED UTILITY PANT. They are WAY better than the ATG Canvas Cargo Pants. The canvas cargo pants have thinner material and shallower pockets; not nearly as nice a product.
I don't usually leave reviews but when I cam back to by more, I had to. From fishing, hiking, upland game hunting, elk hunting, anything you really want to do outdoors. They did take a few wears to really break in but once they're used snd washed a few times, these things are pretty much the best pair of Utility style pants I can think of. Im about 6'4, 230 and the 38x34 is just loose enough to sit comfortably. Buy these!!!
If you have a dump trucks of a booty like me, at least that's what my wife says then you will appreciate these pants. I also have issues with the way clothing feels to me. Must be a sensory thing. But these pants satisfy the approved checklist I have. There loose fitting in the thigh, crotch area. They also stretch with you and have an absolute just comfortable feeling to them. I'm extremely happy I found these and will be ordering more to replace my Levis that just don't fit right. If you have issues with normal jeans fitting and want pants that are comfortable and look good then the Men's ATG reinforced utility pants are for you
These are perfect. I use them for work and the side pocket on the leg is perfect for out of the way wrench pocket reinforcement on that pocket would be nice as I've worn a hole through on 6 pairs of these and had to have repaired . Luckily I use boots so the 34 length is ok but I would wear these casually as well if they would add a 36 Length. I need 36 Length I can't be the only one!
When these pants are new they're awesome! Great for hiking(in chilly to fair weather) as well as doing yard/house work. However, I have now owned 3 pairs of these pants and all three have had the same problem. The belt loops on the left and right hip eventually rip off of the waist. When that happens it tears a small hole in the side that rips and only continues to get worse and worse over time. After a while you'll just need to replace them once this happens. The rest of the pants from the waist down is pretty great. Comfortable, good looking, durable, and just a great pant but, I won't recommend anyone buying these until the belt loop issues is resolved.
I bought two pair in different colors for my grandson to wear to work. He chose the colors and size. They fit perfect and the quality is really nice, good colors in grey and caviar. He was very happy with them and his dad liked them so much he ordered a couple of pair for himself. They are priced well, and have color options to chose from so I will come back to order more when they need them, may even get a pair or two for my husband.
I have four pairs of pants that I rotate.I bought these ATG along with two other Wrangler pants...denim jeans and the RIGS Workwear. The jeans and the RIGS are holding up great but the ATG bit the dust. They wore right in the crotch and where my cell sits in my front pocket, not at the knees or butt, so its not a matter of abrasion. Very odd.The fabric has a unique soft comfortable feel. It just didn't seem very rugged to me considering the wearing in the crotch.
