While this appears to be genuine leather, the material is incredibly thin. The overall construction of the jacket though visually appealing is astonishingly poor. Within 3 wears, there is a giant rip along the seams of the back panel on the left hand side of my new jacket. There is no world where I could have caused this, the jacket was a full size larger than I regularly wear, I don’t even keep my purse on that side. I’m incredibly disappointed, I don’t even know if it would be eligible for a refund in its current condition. I don’t wish to waste any more money on shipping it back after the duties I paid which I shouldn’t have even been charged according to the ASOS’s policy. Buyer beware, you get what you pay for, but even on sale, this jacket is in no way worth it!

I have had this in my saved items for quite a while now and decided to purchase.A lot of the reviews for this item advise to order the next size up but I'm not sure why. Based on other reviews, I sized up and ordered a 12 but it was too big. It gave me a weird, boxy shape and just sort of hung loosely on me (I'm about 5'6 and a size 10 for context).I returned and ordered a ten which was a much better fit.The texture differs to how it appears in the photograph but I quite like it. The zip sticks a little but I think this will change the more it is used.I bought this at sale price which I think is fine but would not have paid full price for it. Overall it is a good, comfortable jacket and (at the sale price) good value for money.

This product should be recalled and or renamed, it's not real leather, unfortunately I bought 3 of this and even gave 1 out as a gift. I live in Canada and paid duty fees all 3 times before I could collect my package, couldn't wear mine because it was cold over the winter months and disappointed that it started ripping when I wore it recently, I have returned the last 2 with me and paid $84.22 just to return. It's not worth a cent, we have jackets in Canada, only got these because they were advertised as real leather. And when I called I was told "they're real leather because our website says it's real leather " please judge for your self if real leather tips like this. Now if lost my duty fee paid for each Jacket but please refund me for the cost of the jacket ×3 ... It looks nice from the front, however at the back the collar is somewhat too thick (due to thick leather used I guess), too tight, too stiff and cuts into neck, which makes it really uncomfortable for me to wear. The quality of the leather and overall sewing is nice though. I’m size 10, but bought 12 based on reviews and it fits, though the sleeves are on the edge of being too long and too bulky. If you have sensitive neck and would not like a heavier wear on it, it might not be a best buy for you, otherwise for folks without that kind of sensitivities, I’d dare to reccommend.
First off, is the quality that of a jacket from Allsaints or Helmut Lang, no of course not. But it's definitely better than a vegan leather jacket, and let's be honest, "vegan" is just a marketing ploy, a fancy way of saying FAKE. For the price, you're getting a decent entry-level real leather jacket. It's on the thinner side, but not too thin. I did notice a couple small areas where the leather felt slightly thinner or stretched out compared to the rest of the jacket, that's obviously a quality control issue, but overall I'd say it's a good option if you're not looking to spend over $200. As for the sizing, I simply went to the brand's website and checked out their size charts to figure out which to buy. I believe I went with a UK 10, which was the equivalent of a ... As for the sizing, I simply went to the brand's website and checked out their size charts to figure out which to buy. I believe I went with a UK 10, which was the equivalent of a US medium or 6. One thing I don't like is it's cut with more of a curve on the sides. I don't like that it slightly flares out towards the bottom. I would have much preferred a straight cut when it comes to biker style jackets. Overall, good purchase especially since I bought it when it was on sale
I bought this a month ago and Im really happy with the jacket..The quality is good, the size and fit as well. Looks very fashionable. Im 171 cm tall, normally wearing size M, this is size 12 and the fit is as I wanted - im able to wear a looser jumper underneath or an oversize sweater, but when having just a t-shirt, doesnt look too loose. For me it was a great catch!
For the sale price this is a great quality leather jacket, however, it definitely runs small. I’m usually a size 10 and purchased the 12 based on sizing recommendation and I doubt I could wear a knit under it even having sized up. The leather is also not as ‘rigid’ as it appears in the product images; it’s definitely a softer finish. It feels beautiful but it doesn’t give as structured a look as in the pics online. I also find the little hanger tab on the inside of the neck quite stiff and it digs into the back of my neck which is uncomfortable. All of that being said, I do think it’s a great leather jacket for the sale price and I’m glad I purchased as I’d been looking for a jacket in this silhouette at an affordable price point for years.
I bought this for my birthday in May. Unpacked it, tried it, loved it then put away in the wardrobe. Unfortunately, my son fell ill for two months and have forgotten about it. Since it started raining again I thought I now have a chance to wear it but when I took it out I noticed that there is a long tear on the leather material that is visible on the neck. Trying to return it and I am hoping ASOS will see I haven’t used it as tags are still attached. Will order the same one when ASOS refunds the money.
Several reviewers had suggested sizing up. I bought the size suggested by the asos app (usually an L but the app suggested XL for this jacket) and the size fit well. The arms were a little snug when worn the first time but the leather kind of expanded and moulded into a comfortable fit after the first couple of wears. It kept me relatively warm when I wore it on a cold and windy day outdoors. This is my first leather jacket purchase after buying several cheap faux leather jackets that crack and peel in a couple of years. Hope this can stand the test of time. Bought on sale it was a good purchase for a quality leather jacket.
This is my first actual leather jacket, and I was really happy to find one at a really good price, all things considered. I looked at several lines from Barney's and ended up picking this one, and I do have to say, I'm really happy. It's not exactly THICK leather, but that also means you don't wear it in for like a year, so win some-lose some. I am really glad I listened to the reviews though, because this really does run small. I'm usually a EU 38-40, and picked this one up in 42. It's a little big in the body, but fits well around my shoulders, so I definitely couldn't go a size down. I figured, eh, I might gain weight in my midriff, and it's comfier this way if I have a hoodie on underneath. Also, I mostly wear it unzipped so far, so it doesn't really matter as ...
