I got these for free with my HD3 purchase and I really like them! They add a modern look and style that I love! I haven’t done too much testing but they seem to isolate the speakers and sound better than without the stands. Build quality is almost perfect, and I would pay full price for these! Thanks Audioengine!

Bought for AE +2 speakers. Sleek, elegant small foot print stand. Holds speaker at angle, almost like the speaker is floating .My speakers are black like the stand and seem to disappear under them. But they would look just as good under red or white speakers. In my opinion well worth the coin. T.M.

This desktop stands really enhance the music experience on my PC desktop setup. The music sound much immersive when projecting at the degree angle toward the ears level. The quality of the stands feel premium and stable holding up the speakers. Would recommend it for anyone who want to elevate their music listening experiences with desktop speakers.

Fits snug on even small shelves. Perfect angle for best listening and aesthetic decor. Rail type stand gives the appearance of buoyancy and anchored at the same time. Looks springy though they are quite solid. Ensures bottom air flow if that's important to you. Very cool for snobs like me!.
Seldom do you buy a product online and hope the product does noting more than exactly what the product describes. And yet, here we are. These do exactly what they say they'll do: hold up your Audioengine desktop speakers. They fit perfectly and the speakers don't slide around at all (the material between the stand and the speaker prevents this), and the build quality is excellent: I was actually surprised as to how well-built they are. These are not the most necessary accessory purchase for your speakers, and I imagine only the most stringent audiophile would want these to reduce vibrational interference with the speakers, but they're excellent and low-profile. Go ahead and grab them, they're great!
These are really sturdy, well-made stands. They also turned out to great iphone holders. I bougth one pair for my speakers and a second as a phone stand at my desk. I bent up the angled base a little more to provide a better angle for the phone. My wife saw this and grabbed the other one for her desk.
I bought the speakers and stands as a set. I don’t regret my purchase at all. I use them in the office as my desktop speakers. They produce crisp sound from my Alexa device for music and podcasts. Also using via Bluetooth for conference calls. Excellent all around.
I purchased the A2+ speakers with the original plastic stands. Substituting the DS1M stands makes a surprising difference in fidelity. Some other reviewers described it as opening up the sound stage. I sense the fidelity of the sound is brighter and fuller - more accurate. I don't understand how these stands could make such a difference. Worthwhile expenditure!
These stands are sturdy, but they make the speakers look ugly. I love my a2+'s, but these are wider than the speakers themselves. This is because they make the stands out of a single piece of steel and then just bend it. Thus the portion that supports the speaker can't be the same size as the portion that touches the desk. Makes them easy to manufacture, but looks anything but sleek. It's hard to notice this in the product photos.
I think the design is minimal and beautiful. seriously, great job to the people who developed this. Only issue is I wish it had slightly more tilt even like 1 degree to get speaker lined up with ears Also could be a hair narrower and shorter. Thinking about 3/4 inches less would be correct for my A2 but I guess it needs to be longer to work with HD3? Not sure but If there existed a set of speaker stands that looked the same and was smaller, had a bit more tilt (and was cheaper to boot!) I would prefer it over this... Claire B
