not any better than NOW bergamot oil which is cheaper.Not satisfied with its quality.Quite pricey too.very disappointed.Scent was not as expected.I normally use this as a fragrance.I like bergamot oil.Citrus scent and quite refreshing.I like bergamot oil because of its refreshing scent. Very uplifting.

I put a few drops of this in my burner whenever the kids have cold or cough. It helps them to breathe better and recover faster. During the months of haze or whenever I feel that the air quality is bad, I would put a few drops of this in my burner again and the air smells better and cleaner already. I feel that Aura Cacia's essential oil quality is better than Now Foods. This patchouli is nice and I use it in a vibration cold water diffuser to create a nice smell in the evenings. I will look forward to when it matures into a nicer smell, as most patchouli oils do this over time. I have removed the dispenser inside the bottle neck and replaced it with a pipette to make it easier to dispense from the bottle drop by drop. I do this with all the more viscous essential oils like rose otto and sandalwood. This patchouli oil mixes well with woody oils and also rose otto and rose absolute for a really luxurious room or body perfume.
I love this brand of oils. Bergamot is an acquired fragrance. I am yet to figure out how to blend it well in my diffuser to make it really sing. Some ready made blends with bergamot May have been a better choice. It’s soft, and pleasant so I will still use it up. I just can’t notice a distinct or memorable fragrance.
There may be a little confusion here, as this isn't a mixture of lemon and eucalyptus oils. This is the oil made from the lemon eucalyptus tree. (Corymbia citriodora) and this oil smell just as the trees do on rainy days. It's a smell I love and is connected to so many happy memories for me that there is no way I CAN'T love it. I guess I'm a little bias.But, having said that it does indeed smell like citronella candles because many of the candles are made using this trees oils. And it does smell a bit like lemon pledge too. It's a unique smell, but if you're familiar with the tree and you're missing the lovely tangy yet sweet scent, this is your oil.
I recently read a consumer reports article on tick and mosquito repellents and Lemon Euclyptus was the key ingredient that made natural products like repel work. When repel lowered the % of esssential oils they use in their product people reported it didn't work as well. I bought a non toxic tick repellant that didn't have this oil in it's mix, andI added this to it. I just spray on me the kid and dog. No worries about toxins. Seems to keep mosquitos away so far.

Personally I like to pair it with ylang ylang oils they blend really well and altogether smells so soothing and peaceful. I've bought 6 different oils from Now Foods and their oils were either diluted or mixed with other essential oils, most importantly most of them smell weird and so I decided to try Aura Cacia. Testing with the same diffuser Now Foods oils are pretty weak, I can barely smell it in my small bedroom with even 10 drops of it, while Aura Cacia is much denser and stronger, 6 drops is more than enough to fill my bedroom with the aroma.
