Excellent sound with no overblown bass. Trebles clean and bass is correct. You can sense the atmosphere in recordings. Volume is OK on laptops. Sonically these are great!One alert though is that the cable that plugs into left earphone must be put in properly. Note there is an "L" shaped groove on the side of the plug. The very brief instructions just says, "push in and then turn to the right."When I gently pushed in the plug there was a resistance that didn't really feel happy. I found that it was best to gently feel your way in by twisting the plug. Once it starts to go in push completely down and solidly turn to the right to lock firmly.

OK, just shy of £100 is, by today's cost of living, is alot to pay for wired headphones. But if you are listening on the move from your phone, or using them at home through your amp, these are absolutely brilliant. Clean, distinct warm sound is heard and you soon hear just what a bargain these things actually are!

Read several written and youtube reviews about these headphones and the overall verdict contained nothing but high praise for them . The build quality is good resulting in a comfortable listening experience , the sound quality is very good , especially when playing hi-res audio where these really come into their own . The only minor drawback is that the supplied cable is a little on the short side , also they do require some running / breaking in to get to their full potential , but apart from that a very worthy purchase if you are 'budget' minded but still want a quality product .

Been using these for a few weeks now and am really impressed. I was looking for a set of headphones with a flat response for headphone guitar practice and playing games. They sound great, they feel really solid, and they're comfortable even with glasses. I don't think these can be beaten at this price point.
I use these headphones to listen to various genres of music for fun. I can hear elements in the music that I cannot in other headphones. If you are looking for exaggerated bass, these are not that type of headphones. These are flat sounding headphones.
These headphones are truly amazing for the money. The music from my DAC player comes alive with a sound quality usually only found on much more expensive options. Coupled with my DAC player these cans really hit the spot.
Bought these online and delivered to the Cardiff store. Tried them out and straight from the box the sound was clear and detailed . Listened to them through my onkyo /rotel power amp set up playing Stevie Nicks live. Wow can't fault this product for the money. Had to buy an extension for them tho as the lead supplied is too short and had to sit too close to the TV so added £25 to the cost,hence the 4 stars. Other than that no gripes.,really well built fit comfortably on the ears without any discomfort even after prolonged listening. Bargain!!
These closed back, over ear, wired headphones are perfect for listening to music without annoying the rest of the household. They’re amazingly well made for the price - with high quality drivers delivering precise, engaging sound. They’re comfortable too! The supplied lead is only 1.2m, meaning most people will need an extension - hence 4 not5 stars overall.

More musical than my AKG 240 (which are a tad clinical and dry) - the HiX15 is more punchy down low and more crisp, articulate up high. Plenty, but not too much bass. NOT scooped or weak in the midrange, where all the real action is. Very pleased - better overall balance than ATH-M50x, more musical and articulate then ATH-M40, way more interesting than AKG-240, much less sibilant than BeherDynamic and ATH-AD700X (which hurt my ears they are so bright and screechy) wider sound stage than Shure offerings, and just a nice, overall pleasant result - so comfortable I can wear them for extended periods. ... MoreAccurate, balanced sound across the whole spectrum. Quality built headphones with amazing sound but not ideal for work calls because the natural sound isolation makes it hard to hear myself clearly. Also, they are noticeably big if you are doing work calls. But I love using them to listen to podcasts, music etc and they are comfortable too. Easily the best I have ever had and they fold away really well too.
