Autoglym Trim & Bumper Gel 500ml

I wanted to write a review for Autoglym on my own, was not even asked to do it, because the Autoglym Bumper and Trim Gel product works so well and is so easy to use that I wanted to share my experience with the world. First, it brought my black bumper and trim, which was faded to and looked old, back to life. Looks brand new!But wait, there's more. I don't even know if the company that manufactures Autoglym Bumper and Trim Gel is aware of this, but -- this is the best part -- Autoglym Bumper and Trim Gel actually removed the hard water spots on my car! Water spots are difficult to remove, and most products that claim to be able to remove them just don't work -- believe me, I've tried them all. Quickly, easily, and superbly!All you do is pour a few drops on area where water spots are, take a clean terrycloth towel and rub the surface, and the spots are gone!Thank you, Autoglym!

A good quality 'reviver' that brings bac...

A good quality 'reviver' that brings back the colour of the original plastics after the sun has 'bleached' them. Not as good as the original which is no longer sold (environmental damage?) but still a good product. I use a lot of this type of product restoring motorcycles. If the plastic is too damaged by fading I use a good quality plastic paint (spray) if a truly professional finish is required. Autoglym can then be used to 'polish' the new paint. Recommended.

AutoGlym Bumper and trim gel, excellent high quality product to rejuvenate plastic trims. Very thick formula with a pleasant almond scent. Seems excellent at repelling water as well! Also has the royal warrant which stands for high quality Highly recommend!

Doesn't last long

Please don't waste your money on this detailer. It does give the plastic a great shine and glossiness but it will fade away after the first rain. I bought this item based on reviews and my bumper looked amazing when i applied it but in less than a week it started to show water /rain marks specially on the rear bumper. Very disappointing 😔

Higher Price Point = Better, Lasting Results

Priced well above other products I was always reluctant to pay the extra.UNTIL a neighbour gave me his almost empty bottle to try on my vehicle.The resulting superior finish was immediate! It's a gel product which can much more easily be applied sparingly. And the lasting results speak for themselves.

I've tried numerous cleaning and restoration products on the mat black roof rails on my Peugeot RCZ. Autoglym Bumper and Trim Gel has been by far the best, restoring the rails from a weathered, rain spotted mess to their former beauty. Very impressed with this product. Even after recent heavy, prolonged rain the finish is still great.

Renewed all external plastic moulding like new!

Oh my goodness people, this product is the bomb! My side steps (and all external plastic moulding) was so faded and I thought I give this a shot, and if it didnt work, look at replacing them. It went on quite oily, I wondered if when it was absorbed if it would look as good. Oh my goodness, my Jeep looks amazing now, best stuff EVER.

Review of Autoglym Bumper and Trim Gel 500ml

Really good at restoring a dark shiny sheen to plastic surfaces, which seems to be quite long-lasting. The initial oily smell goes away within 24 hours, so using it on the dash, etc. is fine too. I did not need to use much to treat all the outside plastics on my convertible AND the whole engine parts under the hood, so I think one bottle will last me about a year.

Surprisingly good

I was not expecting this to work as well as it does. 18 years of sun has not been kind to the trim on my car. I thought I'd get a slight improvement but this stuff exceeded my expectations. Works best on a certain type of plastic like the drain area below the windscreen wipers, and around fog lights. Improves rubber but not quite as effective. I'm not sure how long it will last but I'm very happy with the initial results.

Wouldn't use anything else now...

Used another leading product for exterior black vinyl and rubber and thought I would try this as I like Autoglym's other products. The gel that comes out of this bottle looks as if it really means busines...looks very thick and rich. Goes on kinda sticky but is ok when you spread thiny and let it dry a little, then you lightly buff it off for a great look. I really like it and will continue to use and buy it again in future.
