I'm very happy with the pastry blender, my hands are very arthritic, the wide handle really assists me to cut through flour with ease. So happy i purchased the Avanti pastry blender.
I use my Avanti Stainless Steel pastry Blender for cutting the Butter into my flour when making scones, work's well so that I am not using my finger tips to blend the butter causing it too become warm and melted. I have also seen the same blender on eBay for a ridiculous price.
Gone are the days of mixing butter and flour by hand until it resembles breadcrumbs. This pastry blender enables me to make my pizza dough in a matter of minutes. I just rinse it under a hot tap when I'm finished then the blender goes back into the drawer. Easy as. The only word of warning is not to put it in the dishwasher, I did that several times and the intense heat rusted the screws inside the handle. I didn't waste any time replacing it - my kitchen can't do without it.
No problems with order or delivery.
I had no idea making pastry was so much easier now days. The pastry blender is much quicker than rubbing butter and flour together by hand.
