No no stretch of the imagination are these white. not even a vintage white. they are a very dark cream colour. nothing what they look like on the picture

Looks beautiful, works perfectly

This set of scales is quality and accurate. The finish is lovely and stylish, it has an adjustment for tare, and weights up to 5kg. Great for weighing fruit for jam with a decent size bowl. The overall vintage style looks great in my kitchen too. It sits out on my bench as a piece that I get lots of comments on.

Nice Old Fashioned Scales

I really like these scales as my old ones had batteries and kept going flat at the most inconvenient times. At least these will always be reliable. The only thing that was disappointing was that they look heavy duty but they are super light and feel cheap. Also the knob to adjust / calibrate to zero is located directly under the bowl making it impossible to adjust accurately because I keep bumping the bowl when I try to turn it (because there is very little room) which makes the needle jump around. It would have made so much more sense to position the knob on the back, clear of the bowl.

Sturdy and solid. But difficult to read the dial. Graduations are too small and dial would be easier to read if it was angled upwards

As above.i made a poor purchase decision. No problems with the mechanics just the optics.

it is very strongly made and obviously built to last. I would think it is commercial grade and exactly what we wanted.
