Aveda Color Conserve Shampoo and Conditioner 33.8oz Helps Protect Hair

Aveda makes some really great products that will totally make you feel like you’re in an herbal spa. This shampoo is nice, but it doesn’t moisturize as much as per say Pureology or Olaplex. I purchased the Aveda Color Conserve conditioner which I found overpriced and watery. I think this is a nice shampoo, but try the damage remedy line from Aveda first.

I have been using this shampoo for almost 3 years now, which is about how long I have been coloring my hair. Keeping in mind that I don’t color it regularly (i.e every 4-6 weeks, etc.) it has been a staple for me to preserve my color for as long as possible. It doesn’t lather very much when you first apply it, but just dip your head back in the water and it will help it to suds up. I enjoy the scent, however it is very natural smelling so some may not favor it. It’s also known to be a little more drying than other Aveda shampoos, but I really haven’t had an issue with it, especially when using a masque or leave-in conditioner after shampooing. Would recommend to anyone who color treats their hair!

I've been using color conserve products for several years. I no longer go to an Aveda salon but still love these products and my current stylist fully supports that. My hair is extremely healthy and my color always lasts and remains vibrant. I don’t need to use a lot and only need to wash my hair once or twice a week.

The worst shampoo I’ve ever used. It made my hair dry, dull and did not protect my color. I mentioned to my hair stylist that I used this and she immediately agreed with me. Unfortunately I purchased the largest bottle of this and I’ll never use it unless I decide to be a scarecrow for Halloween.

I have been using the Aveda color conserve Shampoo and Conditioner since I started coloring my hair. It is the best! Yes, it is more expensive then the shampoos from Target, but it is worth it! I recently tried to switch to a cheaper shampoo (Nexxus) and I soo regret it. My color started fading by the 5th time I washed my hair. I pay a lot of money for Aveda coloring and it was wasted. Lesson learned. You get what you pay for. #aveda

Disclaimer: I LOVE aveda products and even the smell of this shampoo/how soft it made my hair! My [brand:aveda] stylist at my salon specifically recommended that I switch from the to this after we colored my hair because my color was not lasting more than 3 weeks and I was constantly having to get my hair redone due to the color washing out. Unfortunately, it was no difference with this . So I was disappointed it did not help keep my color, the smell is amazing!

I've been using this shampoo consistently for the last five years. I've never been disappointed in the quality of the shampoo, it doesn't feel heavy in my hair and really provides long-term protection to any kind of colour treatment I have done. The price isn't bad either. I generally purchase it through my hair salon but you can easily order it online from Aveda. Their product line is great. I use both the Aveda Color Conserve shampoo and Color Conserve conditioner, in addition to the Aveda Grooming Clay.

Aveda is my favorite hair care line ever. The smells are amazing, and the outcome is always wonderful. Some products I feel like they leave residue, but Aveda nails it every time. The best part? It actually keeps your hair salon-quality clean! Every shampoo is as good as the professional doing it. This particular one, I feel like it does help keep your colour longer. There are specific ones tailored to your exact colour, to help with vibrancy. I definitely recommend those of you have a trickier colour. This does for general washing though. Wonderful product.

Aveda Color Conserve Shampoo is my number one, most favorite shampoo. Though I no longer color my hair, I began using it a few years ago when I had highlights. It is the most moisturizing shampoo I have ever used that also cleans super effectively without stripping the hair and it rinses easily, leaving hair so soft you almost feel you don’t need to use a conditioner. I have dry hair, as I use a lot of heat products and I also have my hair chemically relaxed and this shampoo has been a godsend. It lathers well, it smells lovely, and it transforms your hair into silk. It’s expensive for sure, but it is definitely worth the splurge. I’ve found nothing that compares.

I have super sensitive scalp and on top of it I like crazy hair colors. I change my shampoo almost every two months but it always left my head itchy and my colors fading quickly. This shampoo has changed my life since I started using it. My fashion hai dye stays much longer than expected. My head doesn't itch. I have been using this for about four months now without having the need to change to a different brand. I love how soft it makes my hair and amazing it smells. It is pricey but for me to not have to constantly change shampoo I am saving money since I am not throwing out have used bottles when the itch just gets to bad. I highly highly recommend this to everyone!
