Aveeno Apple Cider Vinegar Blend Shampoo 354ml

Loved the feel and smell! I didn’t really know much about Aveeno I hair products before being sent 3 full sized products of shampoo (2 bottles) and conditioner ( 1 bottle). I was impressed with the packaging and the natural theme continuing off of their “oat” brand with their moisturizers. This particular shampoo I’m reviewing was for clarifying your scalp and hair! It felt almost minty cool. It smelled INCREDIBLE, and had a great foam up feeling going from scalp to ends. My hair feels amazing and smooth right after washing and I love running my fingers through my hair in between shampoo and conditioner. What I loved most about Aveeno Apple Cider Vinegar Shampoo was it had a great scent. I used it in combination with the apple cider vinegar blend conditioner and it was great. It does not smell like apple cider vinegar but has a very pleasant scent. It leaves your hair shiny post wash and dentangled. Apple cider vinegar has many benefits so I was very happy with this new blend and so far my hair feels and looks great. I also liked that the product was free of sulfates, dyes, and parabens as this is what I usually look for in a shampoo since I don’t like harsh chemicals on my hair/scalp. This product felt soothing on my scalp and my hair felt nourished. I will definitely be repurchasing.

This shampoo is the best one I've come across that literally falls under a seriously affordable price. My first thoughts were that they were just calling it "apple cider vinegar" because vinegar is an actual product that you can use on so many things and it does such a thorough job of cleaning that it's almost unreal how well it cleans for a ridiculously low amount of money. Vinegar and baking soda together clean things that even the most expensive cleaning products can not even make a dent in. I guess I got lucky with the type sent to from #Aveeno and #influenster this time. I have so far liked no other brand or shampoo that has clarifying ingredients. I felt they were all too drying for my scalp. This one really works on my scalp and leaves my hair shiny too. I can feel my scalp lighter and have noticed build up disappear. I have been alternating between this and quinoa shampoo. This is lightweight and lathers nice too. It smells amazing like all other Aveeno shampoos. Thank you Aveeno and Influenster for introducing me these. I have no doubts that I will be switching anytime soon to any other shampoos.

I would recommend this product for anyone wanting a clarifying shampoo that isn't super expensive. It worked really well, but left my hair feeling extremely squeaky clean (I know lots of clarifying shampoos do leave your hair feeling that way, but this was intense and I was afraid my hair might break off if I didn't hurry up and add conditioner lol). I only used it for the first shampoo then my normal shampoo for the second shampoo each time I used it. It has a thick jelly-like texture which wasn't my favorite personally. My husband really is fond of this clarifying shampoo though. He has long hair and it really helps with product buildup and his hair getting weighed down. WARNING - This product destroyed my hair!

I bought this product because of great reviews & to cleanse the hard water deposit buildup from my hair. I had waist length very thick very curly hair. I used the product & the very next morning, the entire right side of my hair was a tightly matted ball. I spent hours trying to untangle it. A friend spent hours more. We did get almost half out. Ultimately I had to go to a salon. I was told it had to be cut. The worst part was close to my scalp. I finally went to salon that specialized in locs. Two professionals, working simultaneously spent hours more, They actually had to use a razor. I lost over half of the volume of my hair. The pain to my scalp was excruciating. It cost almost $200 in product & paying the professionals. My head is still very sore. Wonderful for seborrheic dermatitis!

I love this shampoo and I truly hope Aveeno continues to make this for years to come. This is the ONLY product to ever actually help my seborrheic dermatitis for longer than a day. I have tried all the medicated shampoos, and they just didn't work long term. While they would wash away flakes, they did nothing to help heal my skin. My seborrheic dermatitis is bad. It's all over my ears and even gets into my eyebrows at times. I have tried so many products with little success, until now! Aveeno makes great products and this one is no different. It cleans the hair but doesn't strip the natural oils. I paired this with their Eczema Therapy lotion for my ears and I finally have some healing! Yay! A shampoo thag works for me.

I’ve been on the search for a good shampoo that works with my hair. My hair recently started having an oil/grease problem & I was so embarrassed about it. I tried different shampoos, cut out conditioner, different dry shampoos… & I was still finding myself throwing on a cap, headband, or putting it up in a bun more often than not when going out. I found this shampoo on a list of good ones to try for oil control & I am so pleased! I just used it for the first time last night & my hair looks so good & clean today! I also used just a tiny bit of conditioner just on the ends of my hair. I’m really happy with the results. My hair is soft & sort of fluffy rather than slick & flat against my head. For the price & size of the bottle you get I Would definitely recommend. 🌟

not fine/oily hair friendly!

I chose Aveeno Apple Cider Vinegar Blend Shampoo for the apple cider vinegar (clarifying properties) and the colloidal oatmeal extract (gentle nourishing properties.) I evidently missed the ingredient, amodimethicone, a non soluble silicone, with which I have had a very negative experience.The continued use of such silicones creates a build-up of coatings, trapping dirt and debris in and keeping out nourishing and moisturizing conditioners, and which can only be removed by using stronger detergent shampoos, - those which contain SLS and which then further dry out hair and irritate sensitive scalps.It took me well over a year for my hair to recover from use of non-soluble silicone products.
