Aveeno Positively Radiant Intensive Night Cream

I use this stuff every night! It’s so thick and goes nicely/ I wake up in the morning and after I’ve washed my face, my face feels so soft. I’ve been using this for a couple of months straight….and can for sure tell a difference in the softness and even a little bit of more evenness in my complexion .I’m almost done with this tub and I’ll be buying more when I’m out. I’d definitely recommend. Oh I also wanted to add I have sensitive skin and have never had a problem with this product(:

I chose to try this product as a summer moisturizer. I have oily skin with larger pores that I constantly worry I am clogging up with thicker creams. So I am always on the lookout for a nice thinner gel moisturizer! However, this one is a bust. My biggest gripe is the scent. I try and avoid all artificial fragrances in my skincare. Too many alcohols make me feel that the cream is not doing it's only job and instead drying me out. Still on the hunt for a clean and hydrating gel moisturizer!

I was researching to find a good daily moisturizer, with a broad spectrum sunscreen, that I could use with a spray tan, so it must be oil free or it will wreck your tan. This one came up online as being a good oil free, broad spectrum daily moisturizer. Due to the soy that is in it, it helps treat hyperpigmentation. It is a small bottle, 2.5 ounces, but a little goes a long way. The bottle cost between $9-$13 dollars which seems so reasonable. I love this product! It works to give me sun protection when I am out walking around doing errands, and I like that the soy is helping lessen any hyperpigmentation I have. It is lightweight but yet moisturizing, it also absorbs quickly, and has a lovely fresh scent. I really couldn’t be happier with this product.

Better Than All the Rest

I have been using this product--and other Aveeno products--for most of my adult life, and this year I will turn 72. People have told me I look younger than that. Maybe I can thank good genes, but I prefer to thank this product instead. It's not trendy, it's not "designer," it's not expensive compared to similar products on the market. I recommend it wholeheartedly.

Burned my skin in under a minute!

I tried this lotion for the first time last night. The scent was unpleasant, but I was resigned to live with it. Winter dryness is about to arrive. But! less than a minute after putting the lotion on, I had to wash my face because of a burning sensation. It's been 10+ hours, my face is bright red, sore, and the skin is hot to the touch. Like a bad sunburn. The discomfort made it hard to sleep last night, and since I just took a Benadryl, I'm going be groggy and miserable all day! I've never used Aveeno products before. THIS IS HORRIBLE!

Burns / stings so bad!!

I used to love Aveeno's soy-based night cream so much that I chased it thru its many iterations as Aveeno seemed to constantly discontinue and re-brand it as a gel moisturizer, night cream etc because it was that good. NOT ANYMORE! I put this on my face and a minute later it started stinging. Waited another minute and it was full-on BURNING! Washed it off and looked up the reviews to find that I am not the only one. Go back to the original formula, Aveeno, or lose me as a customer forever.

Fragrance is TOO strong

I was looking for a heavier moisturizer that I can pair with my retinol during the winter months. I chose this one because it did not have hyaluronic acid in it (which is rare in moisturizers), and I was eager to see the benefits the soy compound would have for my hyperpigmentation. As soon as I opened it, the fragrance was very very strong. I tend to stick away from fragrance in most skin care products, but I figured that I would give this a shot. After three uses, I will have to stop using it. When I put it on my face gets hot and irritated unfortunately. The fragrance is so strong and doesn’t seem to go away with time. I’m not sure if my poor reaction is just an adjustment to the product or an overall poor reaction to the fragrance. Good

Good packaging, and the cream has a thick consistency. You only need a little bit to apply. A good choice for night routine! It has a light scent so its good just before bed ! I wake upMy face feeling fresh ! I will repurchase when winter comes since I feel it will help protect my face from the dry cold weather too.

Night Cream Formula Changed

I have been using the Positivity Radiant night cream for several years now and it has always helped calm my skin after I apply it. My skin is very sensitive and a lot of products irritate it, so I have to be careful. Well, I just had to by a new jar of the night cream and soon as I opened it, I could tell something was different because of the smell. The smell is definitely more perfume-y than it was before. My allergies cause me to have issues with certain smells and the old scent never bothered me, whereas the new scent does because it is a sharper smell. When I applied the product from the new jar to my skin, it instantly started burning and the next day my skin was red and tiny white heads had popped up all over. Senstive skin, not for me

I have very sensitive skin. The first application, my skin felt soft. Used it 3 times total, each time it stung a little more and a little more. It caused a slight skin reaction (minor swelling and dry patches). I gave it to my sister to try. It didn’t cause her any stinging or irritation like it did me. It just didn’t work for my sensitive skin. I was surprised since the Aveeno brand is known to be good to sensitive skin. This must have some type of active ingredient that didn’t work well for my skin.
