Aveeno Sheer Hydration Daily Moisturizing Dry Skin Lotion, 18 fl. oz

This is a decent moisturiser if your skin isn't particularly dry and you're using it more to maintain your skin. It's a lightweight lotion and spreads easily and absorbs well. That being said, it doesn't really live up to its claim of 'sheer hydration' or 'nourishes dry skin' as I found the times when my skin was even the least moderately dry, it failed to provide enough moisture even after multiple applications. It certainly doesn't last the '24 hour moisture' claim either as it simply isn't moisturising enough to meet its products claims. I love this lotion one bc no added Perfumes and it doesn’t irritate my skin nor make my legs turn red after applying after shaving. It moisturizes my skin well without adding a lot and for someone who had dry skin that means it works very well. When working out it doesn’t make you extra sweaty or skin feeling really slippery , you feel or notice the sweat when wearing this lotion. With that being said you can apply a perfume without lotion scent interfering since it don’t have one .

Aveeno is one of my favorite products to use. I love that it absorbs fast, and doesn't leave a greasy residue. A blend of oat, which contains a natural anti-inflammatory and anti-irrtant properties making it gentle enough for sensitive skin. Glycerin is another ingredient which promotes the skin to keep it hydrated. Unfortunately it didn't keep my skin as hydrated as promoted on the bottle. Unfortunately, it didn't leave my skin smooth and soft for long. But, I do appreciate the benefits when my eczema would show up on my skin.

Aveeno Sheer Hydration Body Lotion

I’ve tried different Aveeno lotions but they all left my face sticky and weird so I decided to purchase this lotion and it worked really good for my face and my body. It doesn’t really smell like anything but it’s really great. I have moisturizers that work well but are in the 30-80 dollar range and I wanted something cheaper and this works as well for less than 20 dollars. I know it’s not a a fancy moisturizer but it works really well and it’s definitely one of my favorites and dries fast. If you haven’t tried it out already, then give it a try, it’s great. Awful

I don't know what happened. Aveeno has been a reliable brand my whole life. For a while, I have been using the Up & Up version of unscented Aveeno, but it appears to have been discontinued or has just been unavailable for some reason. So I splurged on the name brand. This isn't moisturizing, and it leaves my hands feeling dirty afterward. I wound up purchasing something much pricier to fix how dry my hands had become. It's like this stuff was sucking moisture out of my skin instead of replenishing it.

Beware if you usually use the green labeled aveeno: this is NOT the same at all

I have been using averno lotion for years. I usually get the one with the green label and not this one. I often order online, and this one happened to pop up first so I decided to try it. This aveeno lotion has not been working well for me. It’s not as moisturizing to my skin comparing to the green labeled bottle and seems thinner and watered down. It also makes my face sting which I have never experienced with aveeno products. In addition to making my face sting, it doesn’t fully hydrate my face, so I’ve been peeling in the more vulnerable areas of my face. Would NOT recommend. Stick with the green labeled aveeno.

Excellent!

I was introduced to this by my mom who swears it's been helping her eczema and itch stop. Bought one bottle to try. She was right, quality is great - it's so moisturising but yet not oily. The little dry rough patch on my legs are now so much better. Even my hubby is using it! The scent is very mild, which my hubby likes. We are almost finishing the bottle and will buy again very soon.

Not as nourishing as I had hoped

I've been having really dry skin due to an allergic reaction and decided to buy this product. There was another Aveeno lotion that was very effective for my skin that was dried out from the chlorine back when I swam, and I thought it was this product when I purchased it online, but it wasn't. I decided to give this one a try because it says "sheer hydration", so I had high hopes. It was not moisturizing at all and is much thinner than the other Aveeno lotion. I also have to reapply it every other hour which is incovnient. I regret purchasing this item and wished I went with the previous Aveeno lotion.

Smells awful

I accidentally bought this thinking it was the bottle with the green top, NOT sheer hydration. This one also claims to be fragrance free and it absolutely is not. It smells like flowers (oddly my other half says wine?)which is awful and has already given me a headache. The sheer quality also did nothing to improve this lotion which was great before. Honestly this just stinks so I will pass it on to my mother in law.
