Avene Eau Thermale Avène Tolerance Extremely Gentle Cleanser 200ml - Cleanser For Hypersensitive Skin

This is a very creamy, non-comedogenic, soothing and hydrating daily cleanser. I have been using it now for nearly a year (after switching things up minimally from using LRP Toleriane Cleanser) and I do find it fairly similar, most notably it is mildly scented whereas LRP is not. The only reason I did not give it 5 stars, is it really is not a make-up remover (as advertised), I do personally feel one would find it much easier to use a micellar water or an oil cleanser, or a Makeup Eraser first, followed by this product.When not wearing make-up or sunscreen, this is lovely, and especially great first thing in the morning since it is pH balanced, keeps your skin fresh and hydrated and is soap-free. If you are not yet familiar with lotion cleansers, it seems to work best to massage it in, in circular motions to get that deep clean feeling. Although it can be wiped off without water, I do prefer to rinse it off, followed immediately by a healthy dose of Spring Water.I have extremely sensitive skin and this cleanser has never caused any type of irritation, dryness or stripping, but I feel it is easily suitable for any skin type. I do plan on repurchasing, with this large bottle lasting me almost a full year.

I liked the texture and the softness of the product. However, it took me some applications to remove all my makeup and to clean my skin well. I would rather us it as a cleanser, not as a makeup remover.

I like this product very much to wash my face, it is very gentle, but there are some other face washes I like better from Avene.
