I've been using Avene sunscreen for its broad-spectrum UVA/UVB coverage and easy-to-absorb formulas for nearly 20 years. La Roche Posay is similarly high quality but I've always found it greasy so it doesn't work with makeup. Tried Caudalie because of its environmental credentials but I got sunburned even on their high-protection formulas more than once. This emulsion is still the best on the market and you can't beat the price. Let it absorb for 2-5 minutes before applying makeup and it will work very well.

First off, I liked the packaging and design and the size meant that it is a handy size to put in your handbag for on the go protection. I also was going Barcelona for the weekend with carry on only so this was a handy size to include in on my liquid allowance and was perfect! The consistency was thick initially but gave a subtle tint which actually blended in with my skin tone rather well. It left my skin feeling soft and moisturised and not with any type of heavy ‘make up’ feeling. There was a lovely subtle scent to it, not the usual ‘holiday suncream’ smell but still very pleasant. It certainly makes a fantastic base for make up whilst protecting you from the rays. I would recommend this.

I'm usually an LRP spf stalwart, but bought this while it was on promotion to expand my spf horizons! I have dry/dehydrated skin so always look for a thick creamy spf, so I get that extra hit of moisture as well as protection. This definitely offers that, and I love it, but it may not be for everyone. It is a really rich thick cream that takes some working in. However, it doesn't leave any white cast, and sits well under makeup. It gives a lovely glow worn alone too. It is pretty fragranced (but not unpleasant) , which I'm not bothered about but I know is a deal breaker for others. It didn't sting my face or my eyes, so another bonus for me, as I seem to struggle with that. Will definitely repurchase :)

Super impressed with this sunscreen. Its absolutely amazing on my skin. I suffer from dry skin which can sometimes be quite sensitive. I don’t get any sort of irritation when applying it or throughout the day. It comes in a lightweight lotion, doesn’t leave any white cast on the skin and sinks in nicely, drying down to a natural finish. It doesn’t dry the skin which is brilliant because I suffer from dry skin. Its held up very well in the sun and best of all is waterproof. I can’t deny, this is no doubt one of the best sunscreens I have used on my face daily without any issues. Its brilliant for my dry, sensitive skin. Highly recommend it.
This new sunscreen is the lighter version of the intense protect fluid - if you found that too greasy and shiny then give this is a go, it’s much lighter and absorbs into the skin quickly, it is a bit sticky but not nearly as shiny and greasy as the other one. It’s also hydrating and doesn’t sting the eyes, worked well under make up as well with no burning while out in the sun. On the negative side, it also stains white clothes like their other sunscreens with filters against blue light, and is quite expensive if not on offer. Overall would recommend as it’s a reliable spf.

I bought this product by mistake, I don't want the tinted one. I have OILY, DEHYDRATED and ROSACEA prone skin. My complexion is COOL and VERY FAIR. I'd use usually lightest foundations in pink tones. Avène seems orange but when blended, it melts into the skin and looks natural. This is the first product ever that doesn't show my dry skin patches, doesn't look cakey or shiny, covers my sebaceous filaments and doesn't make me look very pale/white. I look less red and even on my face and skin feels moisturized. If you don't have any redness, choose something else or mix it up with concealer.
I usually use an SPF 30 tinted moisturiser and this one is SPF 50 which I am very pleased about as you can't have too much sun protection. I wear this mixed with another non-tinted moisturiser as I find the colour too strong for me otherwise. It mixes beautifully with my other product. I apply with a brush and I don't get any noticeable “tide marks” around my jaw. The smell is very pleasant, reminds me of sun tan lotion I wore as a child. I have fair skin with yellow tones and the shade of this works well for me. I’m a little bit dubious of it's claim that it’s adapted to most skin tones but I can’t say one way or the other what it would look like on darker skin than mine. Overall this is a great moisturiser and one that I will happily continue using.

I am aware its for dry sensitive skin, but it is not necessary as my T zone is oily and works just fine on my skin. It cooperate very well with the rest of my skin routine products (serums, creams, mists etc.) The finish is very silky and has good oil control. I absolutely love the gentle fragrance, really it smells gorgeous. I trust it will protect my face and neck skin from the sun this summer. It is like double protection compared to what other brands are offering at the moment. Will definitely add it to my daily skin routine.
