I would describe this high quality product as safe, trustworthy and light. My favourite part about this product has to definitely be the how light and non-irritant the product is on my skin. It uplifts my face, and gives it a dewy hydrated look and it also works extremely well as a make up base. I would highly recommend this product to everyone as this product is amazing and is perfect at protecting you against the sun.

As you can see in the pictures, it's a light white colour, which one rubbed in is clear and has a slight sheen. But it dries really quickly. Doesn't feel heavy on the skin. This product is easy to apply, and you have plenty of time to rub it in, and you are left with a little sheen on your skin, but nothing too noticeable. If you wear makeup like I do, this is the perfect spf to use under makeup up. I usually put this on and wait a few minutes before applying my makeup, and so far, it's been great. An ultra light SPF50 sunscreen fluid with invisible results. This is lightweight on the skin, no white cast on my already tanned skin tone, can be re applied frequently throughout the day. It offers high levels of protection from the sun, leaving the skin matte and a non sticky texture. It's water resistant and also fragrance free. The skin is protected not only from UVA, UVB and blue light which is perfect for me as I spend many hours on screen time. This is vegan and formulated to limit its impact on marine ecosystems. Absolutely delighted with the results on my skin and my eyes did not stream all day, the claims that it is suitable for sensitive are 100% accurate.

Great SPF! It has a very light, watery texture. Goes on the skin like a mattifying primer and doesn't feel greasy at all. You can feel it on the skin only slightly right after application, but the feeling goes away quickly and the skin is left matte and smooth. It held up even after a workout. No cast either but I'm quite pale so I can't tell for people with deeper skin tones. My skin seems to love it too. No irritation, which is what I get from most sunscreens. It doesn't sting the eyes either. Recommend!

All Round Great

This is great for maximum protection when you need it most thanks to SPF 50 and defends against UVA, UVB and Blue Light. The great thing about this fluid is how light it is. I find some face creams too thick and they make my face feel wet and sticky afterwards. This fluid absorbs very easily, feels light on the face and there is no sticky residue. The bottle size is ideal for me packing in my rucksack for hitting the ski slopes and avoiding the dreaded ski burn from the high-altitude sun on bluebird days!

It can be worn with make up or without.5 star ⭐️

Awful

Bought this expecting a lovely lightweight fluid SPF, this is not that product. It sticks to every single hair on your face, looks green as you apply. Takes forever to rub into the skin. Pills after a while and looks awful in your eyebrows and hair line. I have very pale skin and this showed up on my face as white and chalky. It isn’t comfortable while on the skin either, feels very greasy and uncomfortable. Do not bother!!

Good but expensive

Obviously it is February in Scotland so unfortunately I cannot review the sun protection of this. The texture is amazing, it’s so light and soft on the skin. As soon as you rub it in it absorbs straight away. Even when you put too much on. There isn’t really much of a scent to it as it is for sensitive skin. It agrees with my skin and I normally stay away from new products as I’m scared of having a reaction. What I would say is it’s £21 for 50ml, which is pretty expensive for a sun cream, that is the only reason I dropped it one star

Just what I need

I wear SPF all year round as I am a phototype II and I have tried different brands. I am very happy with this Avene SPF, and I'm not surprised as this is a reputable brand I trust. The texture Is not too thick and doesn't break me out - it doesn't make me look too shiny/oily either. The best thing is that it doesn't leave a white cast and it can be worn under make up - no pilling. The only downside is the packaging. I would prefer a tube packaging, maybe in a softer plastic/aluminium material as it would make it easier to squeeze when the product is about to run out, without having to cut the bottle to use the leftover product. I'm still giving this product 5 stars as it works well for my skin type and doesn't break me out, and sinks in easily without white marks.

Perfect Balance between moisture & Protection

Layered it over my face & head (where I burn the most) and this simply said no to the sun. Not one bit of burn on my skin following a full day in the sun whilst using this!
