I adore this moisturizer. I have very sensitive/dehydrated skin and this makes my face feel super moisturized without being too heavy. It's like a gel cream texture. I find that if you use too much, it will pill. You don't need a lot. I have recommended this to several friends. Without being compared to a previous product, it is deserving of a good rating in my opinion. On my second bottle, will continue to buy.

I am on my second bottle of this. I adore it. The texture is like a gel cream, it feels light but is super moisturizing. I have very sensitive/dehydrated skin, this doesn't feel too thick but provides me with the moisture I need. It does pill sometimes but only when I use too much, you don't need a lot. My boyfriend (who wants nothing to do with skincare/hates lotion because of how it feels) uses this twice a day, absolutely loves it. Highly recommend.

A No-Go. Ever.

I purchased this product after the Trixera face & body moisturizer was sadly discontinued. I had been using that product for years! I purchased this balm as a potential replacement for my holy grail- and it really isnt a replacement. Im beyon dissapointed. I gave it a chance for a good month, but the fact that it pills on my face is not good! I thought it was melting my skin! It was just the product. I wish they didn't discontinue the Trixera line. CUZ THIS AINT IT!!!

Dream Cream for Face & Body!

I use this for my face & body. Thanks to this cream my chronic eczema is gone! I've totally stopped my steroid creams! This is an all-natural steroid & silicone/microplastic- free alternative to prescription creams. It has evened out the skin on my face & body thanks to the niacinamide. I am once again able to use tretinoin as long as I use it with this soothing, gel-like cream which reminds me of the snail mucin from Korea but much more easily absorbed. I wake up with moisturized bright happy skin all over! I've never used the Xitera cream everyone is mentioning in these reviews but I am a BIG fan of this Xeracalm nutrition. Thank you Avene, for removing silicones & mineral oil from your products. Your formulas are so impeccable & well-made!

It's no Trixera

Last year my Rosacea got really bad. Like, really really bad. I tried several Avene products but it was Trixera that really turned it around. My face healed extensively overnight and stayed mostly under control. When Trixera was discontinued I started using XeraCalm during the day and Triexra only at night. That worked ok. Then, I eventually went to only using XeraCalm and within a month my Rosacea was back at full force. So, I went back to using Triexra once a day and my Rosacea cleared up again. XeraCalm is no where near as effective as Trixera at keeping my Rosacea at bay. Plus, XeraCalm is very sticky and makes my face super shiny. Trixera soaks in and doesn't make my skin shiny, so I use it during the day now. I'm going to eventually run out so I really hope ... MoreLast year my Rosacea got really bad. Like, really really bad. Miss the old lotion

This lotion is okay, it moisturizes enough in the warmer months when it's humid outside. However it doesn't moisturize enough in the winter and if you add too much moisturizer to really coat the skin it can pill up after it dries and look like you skin is peeling. I am at the end of my second bottle now in hopes I just had to get used to it and I still miss the old lotion Avene used to have.They used to have a body lotion for dry to very dry skin that I used religiously, trixera nutrition, I think is what it was called and it was a godsend! It was the perfect lotion for me, it got rid of the dry bumps on my arms, kept me moisturized throughout the whole year, never had a single issue with it. Not as expected...

I normally love Avene products, but this just didn't deliver for me. I've been trying it out for over a month and will pass on repurchasing. The product is thin and slippery and didn't sink in well on my face or hands. It left my hands greasy, and it was not moisturizing enough for my dry facial skin. I got it to try as a replacement for the Trixera Nutrition Balm that was discontinued, but it just didn't do as promised. I know many look for more eco friendly products, but I've noticed when companies try to go that route their products just don't seem to be as effective. I'm just looking for an effective product, and this wasn't it. Maybe it will work for others.

Not good replacement for trixera nutribalm

This is nothing like trixera nutrition balm. This reformulation sucks! I used to love using trixera as a base for my makeup before they made the formula switch. When I was looking for it again, i couldn't find it and found out from the Avene website that it has been reformulated and rebranded as xeracalm nutrition balm, so i bought this one. First of all, upon application is feels extremely sticky and tacky, and i didn't really think much of it. I read reviews on how this pills and thought that it was just bcos the users were using it on their face under makeup and the products didn't agree.. But used this on my legs and I didn't have any makeup products on my legs obviously and it PILLED LIKE CRAZYYY. non greasy eczema cream

i have eczema and i have been going through tsw for the last 6 months so i have tried msny creams over the past year.this cream is probsbly in my top 3 along with la roche posays eczema relief and vanicream.even though i have grown to not mind the grease, it's hard to moisturize befire going outside because im scared it will stain my clothes. however this one sinks in super quickly.docked off a star because the consistensy is just nkt for a tube. comes ojt slowly snd the bittle gets messy.don't recommend if you dont need it, but if u do it's a great product
