Aviation American Gin (700ml)

I love a good mojito...so when on a budget I found that if you mix blueberry redbull and gin with some lime juice it legit tastes like a mojito and all you need is a mint leaf. Well today I finally nabbed @aviationgin and mixed it with @redbull and OMG its so smooth and delicious 😋 thank you @vancityreynolds for making an amazing product that tastes oh so perfect. So delicious, smooth, and crisp. Its like a mini vacation in my mouth. Especially with my crazy hyperactive 2 year old demolishing everything in his path and me here with no patience left trying to harvest what's left of my sanity. I know most can relate. A tasty gin. Very good, but not great.

I just bought this for the first time tonight. I drink gin straight on the rocks, so when I drink a gin, I am tasting the gin, not any mixers.This one quite drinkable, but it doesn't really taste anything like any other gin that I have ever tried. The botanicals remind me almost of root beer. It's very slightly sweet and extremely accessible, but I can imagine that the flavors might not mix well with with some cocktails.If you like your drinks straight, this is quite tasty, but if you are a fan of more traditional gins, this might not be for you. I would happily drink it anytime, but I doubt I would buy another bottle.

I like Ryan Reynolds and his gin.

Because I heard Ryan Reynolds had a stake in the company, I initially tried this gin. I wanted to help and also wanted to test the gin because they were giving a portion of sales to unemployed service workers during the COVID outbreak. This gin's botanical blend is appealing to me, and it is less "piney" than other others I've tried. My second bottle purchase, and most certainly not my last, was this one. I've just used this gin so far on the rocks and in gin and tonics, but I've been really happy with it.

Made for Summer G&T

Summertime is for G&T, and Aviation American Gin has the legs to stand up to tonic with double lime, as my late Father-in-Law taught me. He was a lifelong native of New Orleans, where people take their drinking seriously. He also introduced me to Aviation American Gin. Despite the flavorings of the quinine and lime, the robust botanicals of Aviation American Gin come through. Five stars no matter how you drink it.

Excellent gin for people seeking a flowery, herbal, or gentler flavour. Because other notes dominate and the juniper/pine flavor is subdued, the gin reminds me of Bombay Sapphire. If you enjoy Beefeater or Tanqueray, this may be a bit soft for you, but it is still great. The juniper is still present, but it is now more of a steady background note.

Smooth and pleasany

Really love this gin. It's my new favorite "every day" gin. Monkey 47 is my all time favorite, but it's a bit expensive to drink regularly. Aviation is perfect for cocktails - like a Bees Knees - or for sipping, if that's your thing. I've given it as a gift (to fellow gin drinkers) twice since I discovered it and both friends loved it too and have purchased it since. Enjoy! Cheers!

Try this gin if you don't think you enjoy gin!

This American gin is the greatest; I adore American gins. Try this if you don't like gin because of its overtly "medicinal" juniper flavor; it's more complex and has botanicals that mellow the flavor. It is bitter and, well, disgusting to drink it with Canada dry tonic. Add it to your preferred Fever Tree aperitif. Delicious!

Very clean tasting gin

I’m busy exploring the world of gins. My son loves Ryan Reynolds so he bought me Aviation gin for my birthday. On the rocks, I found a smooth, very clean flavor, just a hint sweet. Adding a bit of soda water and lime wedge made a perfect ricky. After reading other reviews, I did notice the anise but it wasn’t overpowering in my opinion. Good job Deadpool!

With only one glance, it can attract either men or women.

Aviation Gin is simply as good as Plymouth Gin, I'll say it straight up. You experience no tongue bite while drinking Aviation on its own. 84 proof is really outstanding for a gin. I completely anticipated a spicy aroma with a pepper undertone. But no. What you do experience is floral with citrus undertones and a comforting warm feeling as it settles. It is an extremely pure gin. When you shake it with ice, all you get is a very smooth, light floral smell. Any gin beverage featuring berry or citrus flavors, such as The Aviation Cocktail, The Bramble, or The French 75, Basil Gimlet, Singapore Sling, The Vesper, and so forth. It transforms the common Gin & Tonic into something special and produces an excellent Martini, wet or dry.
