I bought this as it was on offer and I'm always looking for great cruelty and SLS free brands. This shampoo does feel nourishing but to the point it leaves your hair and skin feeling really oily and slick until washed away with soap. Following with conditioner did seem to help with the oily feeling on hair but I wouldn't say once dried my hair felt anything special. I'm not a huge fan of the smell either it reminds me of classic old lady smell! Overall, I wouldn't say this shampoo is bad but it's nothing outstanding either and I wouldn't pay full price for it.

With this product a little goes a long way and it really cleanses the hair strands. I would recommend for naturals with 4c hair but also another moisturising shampoo is a must have when using this shampoo. But overall it does the job and leaves the hair clean making it easier for other products to penetrate the hair shaft.

I swear by this shampoo because it replaced my previous holy grail shampoo which was Creme of Nature's Argan Oil shampoo. Now if you are sulphate sensitive like me, the changed formula and many other natural hair shampoos that claim to work for you, will not, because they use harsh sulphates. This shampoo however works a charm. As a matter of fact, it has the same tricedeth carboxylic acid which used to be in the CON Argan Oil shampoo formula before it was changed so this was the perfect substitute. I use this with the masque from the same line and I am noticing a difference in my hair now that I am pairing these two together. I purchased the shampoo at the recommendation of my dermatologist. I am currently going through a "natural disaster" recovery period and needed a shampoo that is not harsh on fragile hair. Upon using it I could tell the difference it made in my hair. It did not dry my hair out, change the look of it texture, rather it leaves my hair soft and manageable. It is hard to find in retailers however when I googled it I located it on WalMart! Thanks, WalMart online for carrying this needed shampoo. I appreciate the manufacturer of this product and will continue using it!
I use this as my clarifier and it is amazing. I am type 4 and my hair loves KeraCare. This brand really understands ethnic hair. I also need to mention that I have a TWA, took my hair out of braids and ashed my hair with this. I was able to detangle in the shower and followed up with KeraCare's Humecto and didn't comb my hair after because I was being lazy. My hair still stayed hydrated and fresh. Love KeraCare

Great product! My four year old daughter screams and cries at the mere thoughts of me washing her hair. She is bi-racial. Her hair is past her shoulders, super curly, yet fine, and has tendencies to get very tangled. Once I put the shampoo in her hair, you can feel it immediately go to work. The shampoo's viscosity is one in which that you can feel it actually hydrating, moisturizing and thank God, detangling the hair. This product works great in my opinion. I have even bought it for a friend whose child has the same problem. I do recommend it, but everyone is different and has to find a product that works for them, this just happens to be the one that works for us...
Bought this last week and was happy with the results. It lathers really well and smells good. When I detangled using my wide tooth comb and tangle teaser it didn't take out as much hair, which I appreciate. I'm currently transitioning to natural and have 4b/4c hair with like three different curl patterns and this product is working well alongside the conditioner. I think I need to try it for longer to really be sure, but so far so good.
