He loves the mix of power and control he gets from the Pure Strike, and says it's much easier to hit topspin with this racquet. It's a light racquet, but a little head-heavy. He loves it!

I'm relatively new to tennis but wanted to upgrade from my ancient oversized racquet. I've been really pleased with this model from Babolat, and love the control it offers compared to some others I tested, like the Pure Drive.
I bought it for my other half and I have seen an improvement in strength of his play. Looks nice. He says it feels fine. He’s happy overall. Slightly pricey though!
Coming from the 2nd Gen Tour this racquet is too muted, and lacks the stiff easy power and feel of the previous generation. Babolat seems to have spent more time on the paint job (fantastic as it is) than the racquet. You may love it, but if you are trying to replace your 2nd Gen model you will find it a COMPLETELY different and to me unsatisfactory racquet. Thankfully my son loves it and I have found 2 new 2nd generation racquets on eBay which are on their way.
I'm a 3.5/4.0 level, all court player. After demo'ing several rackets this one came out on top. (I had the 1st gen. Pure Strike before)Lots of control, but a bit more power than the standard model and, of course, a larger sweet spot. Plus I was used to a heavier racquet so the 300g was easy to maneuver and has lots of spin potential.I was happy with the first (bought in Dec. 2021) so I got another.I liked the Yonex Ezone 98 a lot too, but this one was better overall.
The 18x20 Pure Strike has been my favorite Babolat racquet to hit with. Incredible feel and control, without loss of power. Easy access to spin when I needed it. Definitely loved the changes Babolat did to upgrade this racquet!
it was in excellent condition , matching the condition as stated . However the racket i sold to them felt like they gave a very low deal .
picked this up for the lowest price in aus, service and delivery time was great. the only think I might take half a star off for was that the bubble wrap had come off during transport. in saying that, it was sturdy box and the racquet was in perfect condition. also this racquet is the bomb if you like a denser string bed.
