Babolat adds another chapter to the game's most iconic modern player's racquet. As with previous versions of the Pure Drive, this update keeps the same easy learning curve and explosive spec profile that has attracted generations of players. Updated with Babolat's new HTR System, the Pure Drive's graphite layup has been reengineered for higher torsional rigidity, resulting in more efficient energy transfer to the ball. To help with vibration dampening, Babolat has devoted more space in the shaft to SWX Pure Feel, a thin and extremely flexible viscoelastic rubber that sits between the racquet's carbon layers. Additional features include FSI Power Technology, which optimizes the grommet system and string spacing for higher levels of power and spin. On court, this racquet's explosive acceleration and spin-friendly targeting make it a dangerous weapon from the baseline. It also packs impressive all-court mobility, making it great for cranking winners on the run or charging into the front court and finishing points at net. With incremental tweaks to the feel, this update won't disappoint especially if you place a premium on quick handling. The Pure Drive continues to be one of the best options for those who want a light and explosive player's racquet.

Previous racquets were 2019 Babolat Pure Aero. Great Racquets but needed my shots to be flatter and the Pure drive has done an excellent job with that with taking a bit of power away and flattened my shots with great control. I love how this is done since even though the power is less, the shots being flatter actually travel much faster penetrating with better distance hence deeper shots, than when I would force it with the Pure Aero. Love it. Thank you Merchants of Tennis as always.

The Pure Drive Tour is the weightier older sibling of the regular Pure Drive. This racquet fit a very niche and underserved market. The weight of the racquet fits squarely within a traditional "players frame" specs, while the beam width and stiffness a made to serve the modern game and offer lots of power and spin. This combination is truly unique in a tennis racquet these days.As a competitive level player who plays at a high level and has a baseline game of heavy topspin and powerful strokes, this racquet is my stick of choice. Truly fun to play with and packs a punch in the right hands.

This racquet is the perfect combination of power, spin and control. As a smaller female player I find the weight of this racquet to be perfect. It is on the lighter side but produces plenty of power without having to over extend yourself.

The Racquet was delivered well within the ETA. The Racquet is amazing however, the stencil is pathetic. It seemed as if someone has used a whitener on the string. The colour is dull and it faded away in a day. The string tension seems to be on the lower side than what I had confirmed.I would have rated a 5 star however for the disgusting stencil, I would take away one from you.
Personally this raquet is exactly what I was looking for. I love hitting the ball flat and this raquet helps me generate good power on my serve and forehands. Combined with a full bed of VS Gut and a couple of string protectors the raquet is super friendly on my wrist and elbow. I upgraded from an old Pure Drive Aero and the difference is night and day, it's elevated my serve two fold and overall control for a precise shot down the line.
Been a Pure Drive 101 user for about 6 years. Getting older, slower and eyes never been so great anyway. Thought about getting a larger sweet spot and happy to have found this larger size in the same line I am so used to. Very happy with my purchase now. Love the 107! The larger sweet spot has helped. It is lighter but it manageable. Having more success than before after a playing more than a month. I can notice the difference. I wish I could play with the 101 Pure Drive but happy for the extra help the 107 offers.
Good transition raquet from orange ball to green dot. It's pretty light and good for retired old lady tennis. It takes nothing to swing but not much plow thru power or drive. Great weight for just lobbying a ball back.
Love at first strike with this latest 2021 Pure Drive. I'm a 68 year-old geezer and I was a little nervous about the high 71 RA rating doing a number on my joints. But comfort turned out to be way better than expected. Power was also better than expected, and spin too.RacquetGuys' Customer Service on my pre-purchase inquiries has been quick and helpful. I live in PEI and delivery transit was a mere 3 days. I strung the Pure Drive right away with Pros Pro BlackOut at 55lbs and an hour later I was pummeling my on-court opponent, he pleading for mercy. This is another way of saying that it took no time at all to adjust from the Clash 108 I had been using this summer to this new Babolat bayonet! Overall, thrilled. .
I purchased this raquet as my previous one had been stolen from me so was a little hesitant in trying something new.I had never used Babolat as a brand before as I've been using Head for years so let me start this review with a wow!.The performance on power, spin and control from the baseline is truly genious. Absolutely has put me at the top of my game. It's a little bit to get used though in a great way. Once you navigate your way around using it you literally have a piece of art you're creating all over the court which leaves others left to just stare.I thought I would only be impressed this highly with something like purchasing a motor vehicle. This is no joke, I am seriously so impressed it leaves me in a state of excitement upon entering and also exiting ... MoreI purchased this raquet as my previous one had been stolen from me so was a little hesitant in trying something new.I had never used Babolat as a brand before as I've been using Head for years so let me start this review with a wow!.The performance on power, spin and control from the baseline is truly genious. Unbeatable!
I purchased the racquet based on reviews. Should know better to demo first. I'm a 60+ current 4.0 doubles player (previous 4.5)and have played with stiff racquets. I had the string tension set at 55. I am finding it to have too much trampoline effect and not as easy to place shots. Will try another string and tension soon. Also found the grip with the standard wrap to be too large (ordered same grip size as my other racquets) and had to regrip with a thinner wrap.
