I also like that everything has it's own space so you know the steam is able to permeate everything and truly sterilize. The only thing that is slightly tricky for me is I worried my smallest valve part of my pump would go through the larger holes in the baskets, so I keep the two smallest parts hooked together to prevent this from happening. This product is on the larger size, so if you have smaller counter space, you may need tuck it away between uses.The sterilizer dryer is easy to use and with a few touches of a button, it is set to sterilize and dry completely on its own! I always use the 30 minute setting, but you are also able to choose 45 minutes or even 60 minutes. The unit is pretty quiet while running, and there is a timer counting down how much time has passed and how much time is left until the cycle is complete. I think my most favorite feature of all is the automatic drying that happens at the end of the sterilizing! When I checked the bottles the first time, I was expecting to remove the bottles to find some moisture and steam still left inside. Much to my surprise, every single bottle, nipple, and pump part was completely 100% dry without one drop of moisture!! This is huge because it saves a step of laying everything out to dry on the counter. As soon as cycle is over, everything is ready to be put away or used again! Overall, I absolutely love this sterilizer dryer and I recommend it to anyone looking for an easier and more carefree and time-saving way to sterilizer your pump parts and bottles!

It had been many years since our previous children were infants and having recommended the formula maker, sterilizer and dryer to my patients based on my own reading, I was excited to finally get the chance to use for our last latecomer baby Henry. Unfortunately, our dryer is requiring 45-60 minutes to dry. Add to that the problem that we’re having with the formula maker requiring us to change the funnel after every two bottles due to inconsistency in the formula concentration and we have become a slave to sterilization. However, the sterilized items took so long to air dry (and it's hard to plan so far in ahead with a little one in the picture) that I found myself sterilizing a lot less frequently than I prefer. Then I was offered the opportunity to test this Baby Brezza by the Stellar Product Testing Panel and I'm in love! I would also love to see a version that is just as wide but half as deep (accommodating one row of bottles rather than two), as I think that dimension would make it even more convenient to keep the unit on the counter. I'd rather do two smaller loads and keep the unit on the counter than one large load but need to put the unit away between uses, if I was short on counter space. A smaller unit would also be sufficient capacity for nursing moms that aren't pumping or supplementing with bottles too frequently while still giving these moms the awesome convenience of the modular and drying features of this sterilizer. However, these additional options would just be icing on the cake; I fully recommend it as it is!

I received this sterilizer as a gift. After 3 months of use it stopped working. I contacted customer service and provided a video and all the photos they requested. I received a replacement (the whole process took about two weeks). In the meantime, I purchased a different brand of sterilizer as I didn't have time to wait. Luckily I did because the replacement I was sent worked 1 time and now won't dry. I contacted customer service and sent photos and videos like before. They requested two additional videos that require a person to stand around while the cycle switches and then be around when the machine stops to show the zeros on the machine with the wet items, problem being as soon as it hits zero the machine shuts off so you literally have to stand around waiting. ... Received as a baby shower gift. Great concept of sterilizing and drying at the same time. Unfortunately broke down twice and it hasn’t even been a year. The first time it broke down we have only used it for 2 months. Customer service was kind enough to send a replacement. Now the replacement has broken down just 4 months after we had received it. The machine kept stopping and saying there is not enough water when there was. Seems to only last a few months at a time which is ridiculous especially for the cost of this item.

After the cycle finished i noticed residue where the coating of the baseplate had come off. Subsequently, each time we used it, even though we followed directions and used distilled water, the same thing kept happening. It also wouldn’t do multiple cycles back to back and would automatically shut off. All of this was something I could live with since it was so expensive and I didn’t want to buy something different. However, as of two days ago it won’t even last 2 minutes into a cycle before it shuts off. It still dries but the sterilize function doesn’t work. Love how much time this saves of sterilizing and drying…however I have 2 huge issues with this.1. The components don’t fit together easily. I find that I am constantly having to reposition and adjust the various parts to get them to sit together correctly. This is annoying as it specifies in the directions that a tight fit is important for it to function correctly.2. The dry cycle sometimes fails to completely dry the bottle nipples and duckbills. I find that I will have to shake some droplets out of these parts specifically, but bottles and flanges are completely dry.Overall it saves time, but I wish that for $100 it fit together better and easier.

However, I was disappointed to find that because of the type of pump that I use, they were too tall to sit on the tray and still allow the top to close (they are one piece and cannot be detached). I had a similar issue when attaching the second, smaller compartment above the main one. This compartment can also be used on its own, but again, it was too short for my flanges. I was able to nestle them in with the bottles in the main compartment, but I'm not sure if this level of crowding is best practice for sterilizing. I ended up using the accessory tray and smaller compartment for small accessories like bottle rings and pump membranes, as well as silicone pacifiers and teethers that are safe for steam sterilization. The smaller compartments were also nice for sippy cup straws and parts that I felt could use a little extra cleaning.While I liked the idea of the modular feature, I didn't find it all that helpful. As explained above, I couldn't use it to accommodate my pump parts in addition to the bottles so that all could be sterilized at once, which is the main reason I would want a large sterilizer like this. If you choose not to use all the pieces/compartments, you still have to store or put them somewhere, and using less doesn't do anything to change the footprint of the sterilizer on the countertop.As far as the actual function of the sterilizer, there is an option to sterilize only or sterilize and dry. The dry feature is a nice option when you don't have time for air drying, and I found that the bottles and parts were dry enough for use after even the shortest (30 minute) dry cycle. It's definitely nice to have this option when you're in a pinch and need a set of parts or a bottle fast, and I appreciated this feature more than I was expecting. When the machine is running, it is a bit noisy. It sounds like a quieter version of a single-cup coffee maker when starting up, has a low hum while sterilizing and a fairly loud fan noise (with venting steam) while drying. It beeps when the cycle is finished, which is helpful in a busy household.Overall, I was pleased with the actual performance, but am not sure that an extra piece of (rather large) equipment is needed to do the job. I have used multi-use, disposable plastic steam sterilizer bags for the microwave for years, and like their convenience and compact size. They get the job done in nearly the same amount of time as this sterilizer and use tap water, although they don't dry the parts, which is admittedly a nice feature. I know Baby Brezza is a high end brand so I expected this to be a great sterilizer and it didnt disappoint! This product is packed with features and uses high quality products, I like that there is no BPA and the plastic is thick and strudy. It has a sleek white modern design and a nice bright display that lights up when you turn it on. When the Sterilizer or dryer is running it is very quiet (much quieter than my regular dishwasher!).This Sterilizer has three separate tiers you can use or remove to fit all your baby's items. I am a working mom who pumps daily and breastfeeds at home, and I found that two levels was just right to fit all of my breast pump parts, a couple pacifiers, and a bottle or two. Had I added the third tier I would be able to fit 4 bottles (we use 6 ounce size), the pump parts, and pacifiers.The items came out bone dry and ready to use whether I used the 30min, 45min, or 60min sterilize and dry cycle so I prefer the shortest 30 minute cycle to save time and energy.I loved that I could just do a quick wash of the items and then throw them in this sterilizer to know they were cleaned and ready to use, there is nothing I hate more than doing dishes after a long day at work so this product really saved me time and hassle.My favorite part of using this product is literally the satisfaction of removing all the products completely dry and ready to use.Before I got this, my method of sterilization was putting all my pump parts and bottles in a boiling pot of water and then setting them on a drying rack to dry. With air drying them on the rack it would sometimes take 24 or even 48 hours before they were completely free of water, and I always worried that they were picking up germs or pet hair while they sat out on the counter so long, but now that's not an issue. I can unload the items and put them in the cabinet immediately! It's important to me that I know the products I'm using for my baby are clean and germ free and I really didn't realize how much time I was spending getting things cleaned before I got this product. Now when I get home from work I run the sterilize and dry cycle while I make dinner and by the time we're done eating everything for my baby and my breast pump is clean, dry, and ready to use!The only negatives I've found are the product's size and the ongoing maintenance costs.When this sterilizer is fully assembled with all three tiers it is so tall that it barely fits under my kitchen cabinets and it takes up most of the counter space. While it is a nice design, and I liked the white, I feel like it adds a lot of clutter to my kitchen space and if I want to store it in a cabinet it takes up the entire shelf.I tried to use regular tap water and filtered refrigerator water but it left a lot of residue in the bottom of the sterilizer, so you really do want to use distilled water (as the instruction manual reccommends).I didnt love that I had to purchase special water to use this product and that I have to purchase new HEPA filters for it every few months (though I understand it for hygienic purposes and luckily they are affordable).Overall if you want to have a quick way to sterilize and dry your baby items this is a great product and I would recommend it, just make sure you have somewhere to use it and store it because it is large!
