The only real downfall of this machine was that it doesn’t have a timer on it so you know how long the drying cycle has left, but we started setting a timer on the microwave. We would recommend this sterilizer dryer to anyone in their bottle era, especially if you have any travel plans with the new babe. Overall, I am a huge fan of Baby Brezza products and I am happy to say this product is no different! This is my first baby that is exclusively breastfed via pumping/bottles and honestly I had no idea how to function while maintaining my pumping schedule and not drastically changing our adventurous lifestyle. We decided to book a fun beach trip with our 8 week old and never thought through how we would sterilize things in a hotel room with no stovetop or pot to boil things in. Luckily, due to the compact size I was able to fit it in my medium sized luggage. It can fit on pretty much any sized countertop or nightstand which is convenient while traveling. The product is very simple to put together and use. It has 2 plastic pieces that connect inside to the tray and 4 simple buttons (on/off, sterilize, dry, both). You have the ability to sterilize only, dry only or do both. The dry cycle runs for about 50 minutes.After the beach trip I moved it to our master bedroom and now I have the perfect set up. I will pump, wash my parts in the bathroom, run a full sterilize/dry cycle right on my nightstand (every 3 hrs), and place all of my milk in a mini fridge/cooler bottle. I am very careful with handling breastmilk and now I don't need to sneak downstairs and potentially wake everyone up. I love the fact the sterilizer can fit exactly what I need for each pump session (2 flanges, 2 duckbill, 2 bottles). After feeding I can easily fit all bottles, nipples, and any straw like pieces for the more complex bottles. Also, I love if you don't need to sterilize you can just dry everything without any bottle racks or pads all over my counter tops. I would 100% recommend for any parents on the go and definitely for the pumping mommas! This product has saved me so much time and energy, especially during my night sessions.

The instructions are very straightforward and set up takes less than 2 minutes. Because it is designed to be compact, I was only able to sterilize two bottles at a time but that worked well for me when I was on the go. When traveling, I tend to bring only 2-3 bottles for my baby, so this sterilizer holding up to two bottles was perfect. If you plan to use this daily at home and have more than 2-4 bottles I wouldn’t recommend this as it will take a long time to sterilize and dry all bottles if multiple rounds are needed. While I definitely wouldn't call this a parenting necessity, it is a useful product for parents with moderate bottle usage who have room for another small appliance, and especially useful for traveling.The sterilizer is quite compact and portable. The only improvement I would suggest is to make it so that the accessory tree can be more tightly attached to the bottle tray. It's a little tricky to put the lid on without knocking off the tree and all the accessories, and having to reassemble everything can be annoying.Prior to receiving this product, I boiled my bottles and pump parts to sterilize them. Additionally, when we stay in hotels, we usually use boil bags in the microwave, but still need to let them air dry, so this sterilizer gives me peace of mind knowing that the bottles will be dry in time for going out for the day.In addition to being helpful while traveling, the convenient size allows me to use the sterilizer in our child's room, so that I can sterilize and dry bottles in the same place that I will be using them next. It's a small perk, but my forgetful mom brain means that I usually end up running upstairs to the bedroom and downstairs to the kitchen multiple times before pumping because I keep forgetting things. The only problem with keeping it in our child's room is that it beeps loudly when it finishes, obviously not a great feature to have in proximity to a sleeping baby.Cleaning the sterilizer is quite simple. I just wipe the heating plate to remove any mineral deposits (see the attached picture). For a deep cleaning, I use white vinegar to remove buildup.

But the tradeoff is the unit is quite compact, and I love the clever design features that make traveling with it easier. For instance, during operation the cover sits on the base, but for transporting, the base flips over and inserts into the cover such that there are no dangling cords or exposed electrical prongs. For reference, I currently have - and make daily use of - Baby Brezza's Superfast Baby Bottle Sterilizer And Dryer which is a larger model that handles up to 6 bottles. I find that model incredibly useful, however usually don't bring it when I travel. As such, I spend more time at our destination cleaning bottles.
