Baby Jogger Child Tray, City Select

Well, you bought your baby jogger city select, so you need this, even though it's half the price of the umbrella stroller you should have maybe settled with in the first place. When your kids get grumpy, you put them in the stroller with some grapes which you lovingly cut into quarters. You get to enjoy some sunshine and glorious silence. Plus the tray adds a certain amount of protection from flying out of the stroller, so once my kids are 1 there isn't really a need for straps with this attached.The design seems to have changed since I bought the one for my first seat in 2012, the tray no longer snaps fully off the mounts. AMAZING!!

We purchased this stroller a few months ago and we absolutely LOVE it!! It took weeks of research and several trips to BuyBuy Baby to compare strollers before I was able to make my decision, and I'm absolutely 110% pleased with my decision. I love the extra large canopy that can adjust several different ways. The height adjustment for the handle bar is super easy and especially great for my husband who is extra tall. The easy to access and extra large basket underneath the stroller is super roomy and zips for even more expansion. The lock for the stroller is up high and the easiest lock I've ever encountered. The wheels move so smoothly, making strolling so dreamy for mom and babies. My husband could really care less about a stroller as long as it's functional, but once he saw this stroller and used it with our children, he couldn't believe it. He called it the Cadillac of strollers, which coming from him is HUGE!! I also love that this stroller was made by Baby Jogger, a brand that's been around for years and well-known for making such quality strollers. I think this stroller is worth every dime and I absolutely LOVE it!! It's completely amazing and it's very attractive too! My only complaint is that this stroller seems to be hard to get a hold of, including all of the additional accessories. I guess that means it's an extremely popular stroller but I wish it was easier to get the additional attachments/accessories.

Awesome Tray

I use my stroller EVERYDAY for my 3yo and 1yo. I bought the tray specifically for my 1yo's chair so he could have a place for his food, snacks, and drink. It's awesome and serves its purpose! It was super easy to install and does not get in the way when the stroller is folded w/1 chair attached.***The only reason I gave it 4 stars because the tray can't fully open when baby is facing you, it only opens all the way when it is forward facing.***I don't know what other reviewers were talking about when they said installing in was difficult w/the instructions provided. I'm sure written words along with the pics would help, but of you understand your stroller and the way it works, the shapes of things on it, and the way things connect it really isn't hard.

Great addition

I was pretty bummed to find out that our stroller doesn't have a rumble bar accessory available, but I got this tray instead. I read reviews before buying and was a little skeptical especially because some said it was tough to install. I'm very happy with this purchase! Not tough to install at all, my daughter loves having something to put toys and for snacks, it's nice that it swivels open, and it collapses with the stroller.To help with installing, the circular parts go over two parts where you attach the seat to the stroller, press the buttons in to slide the tray circle parts over. Kind of hard to explain, but not too tough to figure out.

I wish it were easier to take off.

This tray is nice, very sturdy and seems to be a quality product. The instructions were a bit confusing at first but once you figure it out, it's not difficult to attach. However, I wish this product was convenient to take off when unnecessary. Once you get the tray on, be prepared for it to stay there pretty much forever. It gets the job done and is a must! I don't know how i would get through many days without it with two always hungry toddlers. I also don't have a problem getting the kids into the stroller with it on, even when it's attached. I typically leave it closed and slip the kids in. I haven't noticed it to be difficult with trays on both seats as mentioned in other reviews. Infant loves it!

Our 9mo old thinks her tray is the greatest! It is nice to be able to place toys on it for her to play with. She also likes to pull herself up on it (while buckled and secure...) and look out the sides of the stroller. My only concern is the longevity - I can't speak to this yet as it is still relatively now, but I hope the plastic hinge and button hold up! Glad we spent the little bit of money for it!

Super disappointed with this company!!!

We have owned our city select double stroller for about three years and absolutely love it; however, we purchased a tray less than a year ago and we took the stroller on a trip that required airline travel. We purchased the very expensive stroller travel bag and packed up our stroller. We checked it at the gate and upon getting home we realized the tray latch had broken. I called city select and was told there was no replacement part and that I would need to purchase an entire new tray. When I asked to speak with a supervisor I was told there was no supervisor available. Yes I know I'd need to file a claim with the airline but this goes to show the quality of some of their products and the poor customer service of city select. Ugh, Returned!

Both my husband and I tried attaching this tray. It took so much time and energy to finally get it on the stroller. Then we realized it would be on permanently, not like the other stroller brands you can snap on/off. I use the car seat sometimes, so this was not a good option for us. Honestly, we almost gave up thinking I bought the wrong tray for our stroller. You really need to engineer a better product for your customers.

Worth the Purchase

this is compatible with the City Select Baby Jogger. I waited to buy this until my daughter turned one year of age. She started walking and gets very fussy just being in a stroller, but once I bought the tray it saved us from dealing with baby tantrums! She is so happy with the tray and loves eating her snacks on there while we stroll along anywhere. Its very easy to install if you follow the directions which are basically pictures but its basically just common sense. The only downside to this tray is: if you have them facing you it does not open completely but I found an easy fix by just leaning the seat back far enough to let it swing completely open and I put her in and take her out that way. not what I had hoped for

I bought this product for my newborn and three year old. I found out right away that it is nearly impossible to find a comfortable way to lay back the older child and her still have room for her feet. As the girls grew I found the foot room issue in any configuration I tried; with the best option being sibling facing which meant they had their feet on top of each other resulting in fighting. My biggest concern is that when you try to increase your speed in the stroller (eg. crossing a road) the stroller wheels shake to the point that you can not go any faster; this is an issue if a car starts to approach quickly. It is difficult to fold down and awkward to handle once it is folded. Not what you expect when you buy a top of the line product.
