We got the Chicco KeyFit 30 infant carseat/carrier and did our research to find a compatible jogging stroller. Baby Jogger strollers were HIGHLY recommended to us. Baby Joggerâs own website has a compatibility chart that shows the City Mini GT2 is compatible with the KeyFit 30, so we registered for the stroller and got it! Unfortunately, you have to buy a $70 adapter from Baby Jogger to make the KeyFit 30 fit. And to make matters worse, according to all the reviews on Baby Joggerâs own website, something changed in the manufacturing of the GT2 in recent months (at least since Dec 2021) such that the adapter from Baby Jogger does not actually fit their own stroller anymore. Glad we figured this out before baby arrives in August! 1 star for the incompatibility, misleading marketing, and awful instructions with no words and some inexplicable pictures.. but ultimately rating 3 stars because, if you donât need this to adapt to your infant carseat, it did seem like a good stroller overall for all 24 hours we had it.

My sister has had her city mini for over 9 years and with three boys. We absolutely love it so when I was building my registry there was no question this would be my stroller. Upon set up I became extremely disappointed when realizing that my infant car seat could only attach if the sun shade was removed. With the older style a Chicco car seat would fit with the sun shade allowing the infant to be covered and protected from the sun. The newer model leaves my infant open to the sun with no option to protect him. Also, the car seat attachment has to be removed every time the stroller is folded. On the older models, the attachment was very different and could stay on while folded. Itâs just a big hassle having to carry so many parts because they all canât be attached ... MoreMy sister has had her city mini for over 9 years and with three boys. Love the car seat and dock for this travel systemâ5 stars there. The stroller, however, leaves something to be desired. It is made with high quality materials and mechanically very sound, but design choices were made that don't make a ton of sense to me.Issue #1: The 5-point harness is a pain to buckle. You get acclimated over years of use but it only goes together 1 way and heaven help you if your kid is squirming.Issue #2: The underseat basket space is almost laughable. Zero chance any diaper bag will fit in there. A blanket and a hat are pretty much all we use it for.Issue #3: The seat back adjustment is a friction clip thing that is impossible to adjust with 1 hand or when the kid is in the seat.Issue #4: The parent tray is a separate accessory you need ... MoreLove the car seat and dock for this travel systemâ5 stars there. Even though they still sell this stroller. Make it make sense.

We were extremely pleased with the quality of the stroller itself. The ease of use for folding, storing, converting, etc. is really great. The features are also great for the price compared to other similar strollers. The reason this gets only two stars from me is because the information on the website about compatibility could not be more misleading. I bought this stroller specifically because it was compatible with the Uppababy Mesa car seat. It says on the product page that it is compatible with that car seat as well as in the document they supply for car seat compatibility. After weeks of trying to contact Baby Jogger via multiple emails and phone calls with no response and no answer, I was finally able to get someone on chat who eventually told me the adapter ... MoreWe were extremely pleased with the quality of the stroller itself. And now I have to figure out how to return the product through our registry, which is turning out to be a complete pain.
I wanted to love this stroller, and there are many good things about it but I had to return it.Pros:-it has a roomy seat and high back about 20 in long, that not many strollers have. My son is 34 inches tall at 16 months and it was good height for him.- has decent wheels that is going to be good for trails- folding and s awesome, fast and easyCons:- though the seat is roomy, and reclines, it doesnât come all the way up. My baby wasnât comfortable because he wanted to sit straight and look around.-calf support, sounds good but in reality it would be better if it actually had foot rest.- fabric could be better considering the price- not sure why it is advertised as compact, it is not and itâs heavy- for the price, it couldâve had a cup holder and the front ... MoreI wanted to love this stroller, and there are many good things about it but I had to return it.Pros:-it has a roomy seat and high back about 20 in long, that not many strollers have. As new first time Parents we have now used this stroller for almost a full year already and it REALLY has held up to ALL the hype!!! EVERYONE Loves Babyjogger because of their lifetime warranty and very high quality baby/childrenâs products and we watched hundreds of thousands of reviews on strollers before we chose and decided on the GT2. We were going to get the Thule Spring but decided that the 3-4 configurations for the GT2 was more worth the priceđŻ Carseat AND bassinet configuration and even a glider board too for another child to ride on with. We purchased the barre special edition gray version and also got the child tray and parent console and a custom liner from Etsy for it(and stroller straps to match)đ. Needless to say we âpimpedâ out our babyâs sweet ... MoreAs new first time Parents we have now used this stroller for almost a full year already and it REALLY has held up to ALL the hype!!! You can beat that! itâs worth every penny imoâ¤ď¸đthanks Babyjogger also for your lifetime frame warranty and amazing customer serviceđŻ
I absolutely love this travel system. Having the infant car seat that goes from the base to the stroller is a game changer! The car seat lasted us until our girl was 11/12 months due to her height, not weight. The tires are amazing because they have the durability that you get with rubber, without having to worry about flats which I definitely would where I live. We were even able to use the stroller without the infant car seat around 8-9 months since she was sitting up on her own so well, and she loved to be able to look around while in her stroller. It is so easy to fold, just grab the handle. And it fits in the trunk of my dodge charger so easily while still leaving room for groceries. I most definitely recommend this product!
Baby is still using this as a car seat stroller combo so looking forward to using just the stroller stroller soon. The stroller it self it is amazing. It is lightweight, folds easily and so easy to maneuver and it looks amazing. I will say this the basket will not fit a average size diaper bag. Only mini bags which is a major problem. You will need to wear your diaper bag. I feel like the basket is almost useless because of the bar they have for the stroller frame. The car seat it self it is great. I have a larger baby. Currently 4 months old 17 lbs and fit just great (we removed the newborn insert). I think we will need to stop the car seat soon though but not because of his chunkyness but because how long he is. I think we will need to stop the car seat soon though but not because of his chunkyness but because how long he is. Otherwise it would have worked until he outgrew the weight. Now the real issue is the car seat stroller combo. Every time you fold the stroller the baby jogger adapter for the baby jogger car seat unclips. It is beyond annoying having to add the adapter every time (this is because of the way it sits in the stroller the rubber on the fabric unclips it accidentally). My other problem is the lack of compatible accessories. I think baby jogger is discontinuing this stroller. You will need to buy all accessories now. Tried to get the pram and they no longer made it was compatible with this. For the price we paid last winter almost $700 wish we went with another travel system to be completely honest.
I recently upgraded from the original citymini. Overall a much better stroller. Wheels and traction and steering are serious upgrades. As with prior versions it lays close to flat and lifts at the seat for super easy collapsing. The adjustable handlebar and the footrest lift are also great upgrades. I actually bought this one solely for the footrest lift. However, with it come some supposed improvements that in my opinion are really a downgrade. Instead of the easy foot lock, now itâs to on the side and by hand. Not helpful for busy moms with their hands full. The canopy also doesnât have the night interior extension which made it darker for napping in the stroller. And the new tray is higher making it harder for little ones to see out so we donât use it at Disney ... MoreI recently upgraded from the original citymini. Overall a much better stroller. It also doesnât swing to the side like the prior version so you have to completely detach it and store it. Not helpful. I really miss these features and hope baby jogger improves them in the next version. I have the uppababy and Bob and this is still my travel preferred stroller
I have had a few different prams over the years and this one definitely comes up tops for a toddler. I believe you can get baby attachments for using from birth but I can't comment on those fractures. I started using this at 18momths. Pros for me are: large deep seat- I honestly believe my daughter would fit in this until age 5 if needed. One handed folding system - super easy to do with a toddler clinging to your hip. Overall size - doesn't take up much space at all and most importantly this goes for the folded size too. It takes up very little space in my car boot. All terrain wheels mean this is a smooth ride and we can go off road easily. Narrower handle so I can easily push and navigate the pram with one hand which is handy when my toddler decides she wants to ... MoreI have had a few different prams over the years and this one definitely comes up tops for a toddler. Lastly, seat covers come off and are machine washable easily! My only con is the shopping basket is a bit awkward to get into however there is a decent amount of room in it once you manage to angle and wedge your items under. I can get my rucksack style backpack in the basket but I can understand why a lot of folk end up with ripped baskets as it's not an easy job getting items in and out.
