Baby Jogger is known for their superior quality and excellent design. I love the fabric, and have easily wiped off small spills. The new taller canopy does a great job protecting baby from the sun, and has a magnetic flap to allow you to check on them. My husband is about a foot taller than me, so the adjustable handle allows us to adjust this stroller for different heights and both be able to push it comfortably. This stroller is also compact and supper easy to fold. There is a handle on the seat you simply pull up and the stroller folds shut. I am pretty petite and can easily close and carry the stroller with one hand, which is a necessity as a parent with small children. My six month old daughter seems so comfortable in this stroller, and loves the smooth ride when we go on walks. My two and a half year old son is also very comfortable in this stroller, with plenty of room to grow. You can use this stroller as a travel system by simply adding adapters for your model car seat. This stroller can support your child from a newborn up to 65 pounds! If you want to invest in a high quality stroller that will grow with your children, the City Mini GT2 is the perfect stroller.

Glad we figured this out before baby arrives in August! 1 star for the incompatibility, misleading marketing, and awful instructions with no words and some inexplicable pictures.. but ultimately rating 3 stars because, if you don’t need this to adapt to your infant carseat, it did seem like a good stroller overall for all 24 hours we had it.

Good quality and features, but misleading.

I wanted to love this stroller, and there are many good things about it but I had to return it.Pros:-it has a roomy seat and high back about 20 in long, that not many strollers have. My son is 34 inches tall at 16 months and it was good height for him.- has decent wheels that is going to be good for trails- folding and s awesome, fast and easyCons:- though the seat is roomy, and reclines, it doesn’t come all the way up. My baby wasn’t comfortable because he wanted to sit straight and look around.-calf support, sounds good but in reality it would be better if it actually had foot rest.- fabric could be better considering the price- not sure why it is advertised as compact, it is not and it’s heavy- for the price, it could’ve had a cup holder and the front ... MoreI wanted to love this stroller, and there are many good things about it but I had to return it.Pros:-it has a roomy seat and high back about 20 in long, that not many strollers have. Literally the best stroller on the market

I received this product in exchange for my honest review as a part of the Stellar Panel. I was SO excited when this arrived, I’ve heard such amazing things about this stroller and was so excited to be able to try it out!! Let me start by saying I have a stroller buying problem and my husband rolls his eyes whenever a new one shows up. As a mom of three kids, I want the best of the best for the most affordable price. In my eyes, I’ve needed a stroller for every occasion: travel, jogging, all-terrain, every day, small spaces, you name it. This one truly can replace everything I have! My husband prefers to jog with this over our much more expensive jogging-specific stroller and I’ve preferred to use this over the one I had for every day use as well. It’s amazing. My husband prefers to jog with this over our much more expensive jogging-specific stroller and I’ve preferred to use this over the one I had for every day use as well. It’s amazing. It’s agile, it’s extremely smooth (the shocks are fabulous), it’s not bulky or heavy, it reclines, and it has many accessories you can add to make it fit whatever needs you have. The five point harness is perfect for younger babies to make sure they’re secure and the infant seat adapters make it usable from day one. The canopy goes very low which is something I’ve noticed other strollers don’t always have and can make evening walks tough with the low sun in baby’s eyes. I really can’t rave enough about the GT2!! My son loves crawling in to sit even when we’re just hanging out and not going anywhere so it must be comfortable for him too. Just such a great all-around stroller. I would 1000% recommend this to any new or experienced mom who’s interested in a daily stroller or a jogging stroller. It’s the best of both worlds.

I have been using the stroller and car seat for almost 7 months. The stroller is absolutely amazing. I love that I don't have to worry about puncturing a wheel, and can still take it on trails. It's also compact enough that I can take it into a store and not take up too much space. I would definitely recommend this stroller. I've read complaints about the basket size but that hasn't been an issue for me. I use a tote bag for a diaper bag, and can fit quite a lot of stuff in the basket (yesterday I had the tote bag, stroller rain cover, bag of groceries, my rain jacket, water bottle, and small purse!). The one thing I wish were different is that even when the seat is in the most-upright position, there is still a bit of recline to it. The one thing I wish were different is that even when the seat is in the most-upright position, there is still a bit of recline to it. Sometimes my baby is leaning forward trying to sit up straighter to get a better view. This seems like an easy fix from the company for future models. I might just use a string and McGiver it to be tighter / more upright.I read a lot of bad reviews on the car seat. I don't have any complaints. I love that I don't have to rethread the straps when my baby grows, just slide the head rest up (I can't imagine having to retread everytime!). My baby is 17lbs and 27" long at almost 7 months old. His head is in the 91st percentile! So I'm surprised we haven't had any issues with the fit, given how many reviews state their babies don't fit at a smaller size. I don't think it will last until 12 months, but I think we can get another month or two out of at least. If I were looking to purchase again I would probably skip the travel system though and just start with a convertible car seat. It is nice to bring the seat to and from the car but it's for such a short period of time (I stopped doing that around 5 months when my baby was heavier) and I haven't connected the car seat to the stroller even one time. Everyone told me an infant car seat was essential but I don't think it really was considering we have to buy a second car seat soon anyways. Just something to consider while you are shopping! :)

Baby is still using this as a car seat stroller combo so looking forward to using just the stroller stroller soon. The stroller it self it is amazing. It is lightweight, folds easily and so easy to maneuver and it looks amazing. I will say this the basket will not fit a average size diaper bag. Only mini bags which is a major problem. You will need to wear your diaper bag. I feel like the basket is almost useless because of the bar they have for the stroller frame. The car seat it self it is great. I have a larger baby. Now the real issue is the car seat stroller combo. Every time you fold the stroller the baby jogger adapter for the baby jogger car seat unclips. It is beyond annoying having to add the adapter every time (this is because of the way it sits in the stroller the rubber on the fabric unclips it accidentally). My other problem is the lack of compatible accessories. I think baby jogger is discontinuing this stroller. You will need to buy all accessories now. Tried to get the pram and they no longer made it was compatible with this. For the price we paid last winter almost $700 wish we went with another travel system to be completely honest.

Luxurious and my new favorite stroller

Between strollers I've owned, borrowed and ones sent to me for testing, I have a decent amount of experience with various strollers and features. After trying out the City Mini GT2, I can easily say the Baby Jogger brand continues to supply exceptional quality in their strollers. The material of the City Mini GT2 is lovely. I have one Baby Jogger brand high end convertible double stroller which I've always loved and the material in this GT2 seems to be even softer and nicer. But nothing beats how smooth this thing moves. As far as assembly goes, it was pretty easy despite the subpar instruction. But nothing beats how smooth this thing moves. As far as assembly goes, it was pretty easy despite the subpar instruction. The instructions do not include any verbage, only pictures and not what I would necessarily consider super easy to follow pictures either (although I've definitely seen way worse). Despite that though, I found the assembly process to be pretty intuitive and quick. Once assembled, my nearly 40lb 3yr old son wasted no time climbing into it (despite it being more for his younger brother lol) and I was able to easily spin him in a full smooth circle with a push from one hand. Both he and his little brother have enjoyed their rides in it and seemed quite comfy. The basket underneath is nice and large and will fit a good amount of stuff. It opens and closes easily and smoothly. The only negatives I found, and these are minor and in no way deal breakers at all, is that it's a bit of pain to change the strap height and it does not come with any accessories like parent or child trays. Which I do feel like when you are spending money for more of a luxury item, it would be nice to have some of those accessories included. However, it did come with adapters for an infant carrier but as I don't have any of those anymore, I was not able to test that part out. Overall, I absolutely love this stroller and it has become my new every day stroller for my 20 month old. I would absolutely recommend it. I must mention that I received this product for free through the Stellar Product Testing Panel but trust me when I say, this is an honest review!

Smooth Ride with Serious Straps
30 September 2021

I have been quietly disgruntled about our stroller for the past six... years. So I was pumped to receive the BabyJogger City Mini GT2 from the Stellar Product Testing Panel. My bottom line review is that the stroller is a nice, smooth ride with a few little drawbacks. And it should be: this stroller promises to be meant for "all terrains." I tested it out on the sidewalks around our neighborhood, on some gravel, grass, and on a few small patches of rooty/rocky ground. It performed really well over the routine bumps and cracks and rough ground. (I'll admit I chickened out of testing it on a running loop near my house because who wants to get stuck in the middle of a hiking path with a mad baby in a stroller?) I've had strollers hit big cracks and just thwack to a sudden halt, but this one was able to coast over these with just a bit of a bump, so it gets two thumbs up for that.Other things I like: The handlebars are adjustable, which I'm sure is great for adults of various heights but in my house it means my preschooler can push it without his arms being vertical. And - this is so cool- there's a trap door in this stroller! Instead of only being able to reach into the undercarriage area from one side, you can lift up a flap from the front and get to whatever you've thrown under there. Genius. I also love how big the sunshade is on this stroller. I can take baby out for a walk any time of day and not worry too much about the sun being in her eyes. The seat back is basically just a sheet of thick cardboard but it adjusts from almost straight up to all the way back so that's a nice range, and adjusting it is easy and can be done with your baby sitting in it which I find helpful.Things I didn't love: I have a bit of trouble putting the brake on with one hand. This stroller doesn't stand up on its own when folded. I find it tough to unfold and always need two hands to do that, so I have to stage it before getting baby, which isn't always convenient. And my main complaint is the straps. THE STRAPS. I realize it's not rocket science but I am not finding it intuitive on how to connect the straps into their clicked-in position. Especially with a squirmy baby, this is not where I want to get stuck, and I keep finding myself struggling to get those things into their spots.
