I love this potty so much! I potty trained my boy at 22 months before I had my second child. While it did take about a month for my son to be fully trained, this potty was instrumental in my success. My son is large for his age, but since I started him so young I needed a potty that was low to the ground and this was it. And easily could get on and off of it and it is easy to clean. 5 months later and he still loves it and prefers it to the normal toilet. When my friends ask me for potty recommendations, I always mention this one.

Best potty for potty training!

These potty chairs are so perfect that I now own three! They are small and compact enough to go in the car with you during early training, and they stack for easy storage. I love the easy-to-clean design and that the entire potty is only two pieces. Don’t waste your money on cute little toilet replicas that make a flushing sound. They are not nearly as practical as this potty chair!

For travel or home!

We use this little potty all around, in our toddler’s room at night or in the car on outings. It’s light and easy to transport. I like the minimalist design. Our toddler can take the insert out and dump it herself which she seems to enjoy as part of the process. Definitely recommend as a car/travel potty and it could be the only tiny potty you need. We got the bigger one and the toilet seat insert and use a combo of them all but if you’re looking to start small I’d recommend getting this one as a minimum, especially for smaller toddlers who can’t get on the big potty alone yet.

Good Potty Training Item

I have never dealt with potty training before, so cannot compare this item to others out there. However, I like the size as it is easy to move in and out, and it is very sturdy when my nephew sits on it.My one complaint is that the white seat does not snap in place. My nephew is curious about anything he can lift, and has a tendency to try and help by pulling this up. The design would be perfect if this had some locking position when the child is using and then unlocking when the parent goes to dispose of the contents.Other than that, this item fits our needs.

Great for potty training

We bought this, along with the full-sized potty chair for training. Used this one initially as our "on the go" potty and kept in the back of the car for when we needed a potty break while out and about. Now that we are past that initial stage, we use it as a secondary potty in the play area, for when he has to go suddenly. Easy to clean, simple, love it.

Light, easy to clean, perfect size potty!

So, potty training has been difficult for my boys, but my two year old seems to struggle most. He is very out of sight out of mind, and if the potty isn't in the room with him then regardless of whether he's wearing pants or not, he will just have an accident. My Husband fell for the bulky cartoon character toilet and while our son loved playing with it, he never used it. Ever. So, Mom and BabyBjorn took over. Perfect for little boys

I bought the Smart Pot two months ago to replace a potty that was not working for our boy toddler. Using the old potty, he would pee all over the place, even though he was sitting on it correctly. This Smart Pot is little boy-friendly, and keeps all the pee in the pot! Yay! Less clean up for mom and more success for my toddler! Win-win! He plops himself down on it all by himself, and does his thing without fussing about all parts being in the proper place. I wish I had started him on this potty in the first place.

Love this! I really appreciate the child safe materials that this is made out of. As soon as both our children stopped using this toilet seat they were diagnosed with toilet seat dermatitis (eczema caused by sitting on the toilet seat). They both are just fine though if they use this plastic seat and have no skin troubles. So thank you for using skin friendly products to make your seat out of!!! We also really like how easy this is to clean. Its durability is great too. It has lasted through all of our kids. Lastly our children who were scared to sit on most potty seats at first felt instantly secure and comfortable on this one. A really great product!

Still using 2 years later

We purchased this travel potty to go with our two matching baby Bjorn potty chairs. The chairs we use in our bathrooms and this potty we use on the go. They are all the same color to send a message of continuity and comfort to our little one. This potty was invaluable when my little one was first learning. A much cleaner option than public restrooms. When vacationing we used this right on the bathroom floor. We simply put a toilet cover down and put this on top and let our little one go just like she does at home. This fits nicely in the stroller basket and cleans simply. We still use this in the car for untimely bathroom needs or just as a safer and cleaner alternative.

Too Small

We purchased this potty as a second seat to be in our downstairs bathroom because our first seat is the green and white IKEA one and we wanted something more aesthetically pleasing for the bathroom any guests would be using. We had read some reviews prior to purchasing this potty that had indicated that it was a bit small, however most of the reviews had indicated their child was 3 or older. We decided that our 26 month old would probably be fine on it while she trained before moving to use a seat reducer and step stool on the regular toilet. Unfortunately this is not the case. Unless our daughter sits perfectly straight, leaning forward, and legs closed, urine goes everywhere.
