When I first saw this bouncer, I was pregnant(32 weeks) and I thought that it's one of this expensive baby swings, which are electric and shakes child with the annoying melody, but the shop assistant asked me to try the big Baby Bjorn bouncer for adults next to it in order to understand what the child feels like, when he's using this product. My son was playing in it and even during our meals he was sitting in it next to table enjoying to be a part of us. Actually baby bouncer saved our nerves and makes my motherhood as simple as it only could be by free up my hands while the baby was enjoying his ergonomic bouncer! Now he becomes stronger and heavier(6 months) and likes only high position, which allows him to see all the world around and to bounce himself as strong as he only could-almost touching the sofa with his po! Few advantages:safety-child cannot open the clips, cover can be washed in wash machine, very small and light by transportation!

We bought this for my son just before he turned 4 months old & wish we’d had it from birth!He absolutely loves it! He seems so comfortable in it & the position of the toy bar is perfect. By his second go in the chair he’d figured out how to play with it and has so much fun spinning & watching the shapes.He gently bounces himself in it & is really content. It’s the only thing he seems happy in that allows me a few minutes to grab a drink/put some washing on etc. Total game changer!The chair itself is pretty light weight and is nowhere near as bulky as some other bouncers/rockers. I can’t rate it highly enough - it’s been worth every penny for us.

I bought this a week ago on recommendation from my sister. I have a fisher price bouncer and use it to set my 3 month old down when I need to get something done but he didn't really like it that much. I was hesitant to spend so much more money for another bouncer but man this thing is like night and day. He loves it and the bouncing mechanism is so sensitive that even his small movements generate a bounce and keep him happier in it for longer. I highly recommend it and if you are on the fence go for it. You won't regret it. I also recommend the googly eye toy attachment. Another item that seems outrageously overpriced yet somehow he is enchanted by it. He holds onto it like a ride it is so cute!

It is a great thing that the seat can be easily carried on holidays, to grandparents house, and after a use disinfected by easy washing together with other clothes. The accessories that can be purchased for the game are good because is near to the baby hand and can be adjust the position, but the "google eyes" is made so that the position of eyes can be in such position that baby watch in cross with her eyes (it would be better that eyes are fixed in the center of accessories). Our baby from the first day is happy to stay in this seat and after 3 months, the seat looks like new one by the quality of material, so the only "problem" is that we have bought the first and the last one... :-) The price of the seat is high, and at first I calculated to buy or not, but now when I add all functions of the seat together the seat is cheap when compared with other seats. We love the BabyBjorn bouncer but there is definitely a quality difference in the fabrics. We’ve been using it for around 5 months and have had to wash it 4/5 times from diaper leaks. The balance soft fabric is already getting holes from washing around the seams. We bought an addition cover in the Bliss fabric and it seems to be a lot more durable. Removing a star for the fabric durability difference but otherwise I do recommend in the Bliss fabric.
Considering the price and brand reputation, the bouncer is disappointing. It’s good enough, and seems to the best option for healthy spines (some bouncers REALLY quash the baby, this one still compresses the throat a little bit still far better than anything else available).The clips are the most finicky clips they could have picked. Seriously - we and others we know that have these bouncers admit to just not using them at all. The edge where the legs go over could also be better - like slightly cushioned.Again, still best manual bouncer out there, but very disappointing considering the price.

But the babybjorn bouncer remains, still a favourite resting spot of my daughter. PS: We haven't bought the toy yet, despite my predictions she hasn't been bored or frustrated with just sitting and softly bouncing away the days. My wife's smugness persists as she regales me with tales of using her chair forever and then sitting her dolls on the chair as a young child. I think I'm going to get the toy either way, I've given up on logic, I don't see what's special about it, but the baby obviously does. It may not work for your baby (even though, after seeing it on my own baby and reading the reviews, I'm not actually sure there is even one baby for which the bouncer doesn't work) but it certainly works for mine.

The mesh material is great, this has been used over winter and also extremely hot days and my baby was never too cold in winter, nor overheated on the warm days when sitting in this seat. As mentioned in the title this should be a requirement, as your baby won't always go straight to sleep after a feed and won't always want to be put in the bassinet/cot when you need a minute to do something. The best part is that this can be easily moved around the home so when you need a few minutes just put your baby in the seat and you might find they enjoy it so much that you may even get a second chore in or they may fall asleep. The only thing that I would change on this product would be to somehow add a lock function so your baby won't bounce every time it kicks. I'm glad we will have this from the get go when we have our next baby - a great investment.

Another huge huge plus is how easy it is to wash. The cover simply slides off and goes right in the wash. No pulling or untangling the belt buckles to remove it and it washes very nicely (i.e. No pilling!). Possibly what really makes this worth the price is the longevity of use. Being able to use this through toddler hood is what seals the deal-nor do I have to worry about my current toddler trying to use it when baby is not. I really wish I would've looked past the price tag of this seat with my first baby to see the true value in such a functional well designed baby product. Definitely a must have item for new (or new again!) parents! P.s. if price really is an issue consider buying an "open box" condition one from amazon for a great discount.
I really wish I would have bought it sooner! I we literally tried everything to make my reflux baby girl happy. From swings, to play mats, to car rides and nothing worked! I am so happy with this purchase! It’s the best baby item on the market in my opinion. It has 3 different levels of incline and it’s super easy to transport from room to room. It also folds super easy and it very very light! My baby absolutely loves it! I would definitely recommend this to any parent! I got my happy baby back and it literally takes little to no effort to bounce it. I can do it with one toe or finger. Thank you BabyBjörn!
