After my last one gave up the ghost the battery wasn’t holding charge couldn’t complete a shave, it was around 7/8 years old which owes nothing (my first only a year or two). Time to take the plung and I can’t believe I didn’t sooner! Firstly , I like clean things and the fact you can rinse this is a positive. Secondly , timing display after a full charge (70 mins life) you would like to think that’s at least 7x10 mins shave (as example I was done in 4mins) which is impressive last one struggle in peak to get 2/3. And the fact you have a short rapid charge that will give you 5 mins tells me I’d be good had I not charged it in emergency! Also the battery it felt stronger I felt power all threw the shave even on previous didn’t feel like that ever, it felt mains powered!Thirdly , the comb when you fold back to detail beard -clips under the back- previous 1 just flapped about in way and my first didn’t have this function.And finally it comes with a nice smart cradle and it looks a nice colour blue and gold it’s really smart!Just a note if your looking into these- I use these itrim’s because I have sensitive skin , razor shaves no good for me so probably get used 3 or 4 times a month when hair is around 1/2-1cm long it goes so not the fastest growing but some to consider how fast your beard grows to how many times you’ll use (I.E I’m guessing I’ll charge it only once every 1 to 2 months) which isn’t a bad return at all. To disable it, press and hold the I/O button until a 5 second countdown appears. The reverse, enables it.I was pleased to see that it ships not only with a plug suitable for bathroom shaver point use, but also with an adaptor for use in a standard 3 Pin UK socket.Personally I think the micro adjustment is a bit of a gimmick but I'm less fussy about specific details. I haven't tested the waterproof element for actual trimming but rinsed it clean under the tap after use.The unit is replacing a multi head unit with about 47 things I've never used, I'm very impressed with the speed and ease of the cut. The looks are a matter of taste, it's a bit on the bling side, and I'm not convinced about the stability of the stand, even with the little suckers on the bottom - time will tell! Definitely a keeper though!

I'm loving this Razor.The motorised adjustable length is a great feature, you really can fine tune it for the perfect length and completely doing away with interchangeable heads. I wasn't expecting to be able to go as short as you can with the guard on and it makes for a very comfortable shave, I've caught my skin with razors in the past, I don't think there is any risk of that happening with this. Travel lock feature is nifty, no more flat batteries on arrival.
