It's hard to make bad strog But back country has made easy work off it. This taste nothing like strog , sad excuse is more of a bland savoury mince. Time to hire a new chef back country
Great food. Easy prep. Light to carry
I tried a couple of these meals to see how well they came up and I was very happy with the result. When rehydrated they become a proper meal as if made from fresh ingredients with all the taste and texture of a fresh meal. They are good value too. I bought the mixed 20 double serves in two square plastic buckets which worked out to be $17 per pouch or $8.50 per serve. My only complaint is the lids are extremely difficult to remove from the buckets.
Got one of these to try and used it tonight. Nice flavour but something gritty was in it which I found unpleasant. I will try other flavours to see how they are. Other than the grittiness it was a nice meal.
Pretty good flavours and pleasing taste. Beef is a bit rubbery if you don't give it a full 15 minutes. Mushrooms are good. Serving size is perfect. IMO, one of the best in the range.
Lots of bland rice and couple of bits of salty regurgitated beef
