cute and sturdy
I’m 17 and i bought this backpack for myself as a graduation gift. I chose to buy from nordstrom becasue they had colors that I couldn’t find at any other retailers. I bought the air blue water resistant one. These backpacks are all the rage and I definitely have gotten a lot of use out of it for the short time i’ve had it. Since it is made out of a water resistant material it is quite sturdy and it keeps its shape even if it’s empty. The water bottle pockets on the side are convenient, though they are too small for any reusable bottles, they can fit the average plastic bottle. The only downside I have is that the zippers are a little tricky, because the material is so stiff, and there’s a layer of fabric over the zippers, it’s hard to smoothly open the bag. I assume with normal wear the bag will eventually be “broken in” and it’ll require less maneuvering to open the zippers as it gets softer. The backpack also has an inside pocket for a laptop but no other types of organizational pockets, except the small pocket in the front. The laptop sleeve is nice but much too thin to provide any type of secrurity or protection to it. I didn’t buy this backpack with the intention of carrying my laptop in it so it’s not a problem for me.Overall it’s a cute and sturdy backpack and I plan to use it for a long time.... Show more

Decent backpack
A little pricey for what you get, but we’ll constructed. Roomy in the main compartment, but I prefer a couple pockets inside my bag for loose items like pens. It has one exterior pocket which has room for a couple smaller items, and then two slip pockets on the side. The side pockets for water bottles are pretty slim, especially if you have a lot in your bag or items that fit from one side to the next like a laptop. I have a couple water bottles that won’t fit at all. The laptop pocket is also very tight with the foam pad. I will need to remove the pad. I am pretty small at 5’ and not a bigger person, and the backpack is a bit smaller. I’m a teacher, so I need to carry books and folders along with my laptop, so this will be a tight squeeze this year.... Show more

Dirt Vacuum
I bought this for travel because people seem to love them and I thought why not hop on the wagon. I used this bag one time and somehow it collected so much dirt it stained the material. I tried to return it because of how easily the bag was damaged and its price point. the staff basically laughed in my face.I get that there’s some sort of new unspoken return policy but it should’ve been taken back. I wasn’t trying to abuse the system. Nordstrom gets lower and lower on my stores to shop.... Show more

happy high schooler
My ninth grade daughter ordered this for her birthday, wanting something a bit more compact than the massive backpack she needed for junior high. She loves it. It's compact and lightweight and sturdy. The water bottle pockets on both sides fit the narrow 18 and 21 inch HydroFlask bottles, but do take up some of the interior space once filled, so keep that in mind as it's already a smaller backpack. She got the black with red webbing - the black is not intense and dark, but has more of a smokey charcoal look to it. She's also been impressed that despite the dark color and sitting in the sun, food items in the bag were not melted. Although I still don't see how that's possible, so take that with a grain of salt. She does not carry text books, but only a binder with ... There is also a pad inserted in the back that can be pulled out to sit on. I find that the webbing shoulder straps are narrow and would cut into her shoulders, but she says they are comfortable, especially given that she's not carrying tons of books to weigh it down.... Lightweight and looks cute
Super lightweight and looks compact. I like that it holds enough and the wide zippers make it easier to find things at the bottom. Like everyone says, the straps are very narrow and not comfortable. But it’ll do fine for a day out in the city. I would not use it on a hike. I think it’s a must have for everyone but I wouldn’t use it for everything because of the narrow straps.... Show more

Overhyped Trash
I really do not like this backpack for school or traveling. If you use this backpack for your laptop or as a carry on for your travels, be prepared for red marks on your shoulders. I highly recommend pairing this backpack with a thick hoodie to avoid discomfort. For the price and recognition that this backpack has, I would expect some form of cushioning, however, there is no cushion on the straps. This backpack is very simplistic so yay for the minimalists out there but in terms of comfort and quality, it is a hard pass.... Show more

Perfect!! Great size and not heavy at all
This is the second backpack I brought for my daughters. They aren't heavy like regular backpacks. First one I brought 3 years ago and it still doesn't have any wear or tears in the corners from my daughter throwing it down. Other brand name backpacks she had will literally come apart in the corners within a few months. And being waterproof is a plus!!... Show more

Stylish Lightweight Backpack
I was looking to purchase another backpack for just running around town, quick trip to gym or for light hikes near my home. I wanted something water resistant and more fashionable than a hiking backpack. I have an MZ Wallace backpack that I paid close to $400 and usually use that for city trips or traveling. I didn't want to ruin that backpack because I keep reaching for that all the time, so decided to get something cheaper in case it gets dirty. I had a hard time choosing between colors. It's summer so I was hesistant to purchase the black and I already own several black bags. I was deciding between the Graphite, Pink, Black, Black with Red Trim or the Fog Stripe. I ended up with the Fog Stripe after comparing in stores. If this bag holds up, I would consider ... I ended up with the Fog Stripe after comparing in stores. If this bag holds up, I would consider getting one in another color. It is a decent size to hold your days supplies and extremely lightweight. I love the stripes on the straps, it makes the bag a little more eye catching. I agree with other reviewers that the size pocket could be larger for a water bottle, but that was not a deal breaker for me either. Overall, a sturdy back pack that is stylish and cute.... Show more

Terracotta Brown Kanken- in love!
Idk why there was no option to choose this color which is the one I bought lol but it is the Terracotta Brown. There were no reviews for this color when I purchased so I decided to show some pictures (w flash and without). I love this backpack!! I’ve had it for two months now and it still looks new. The straps are a little short for my taste so make sure to check that out if it’s a concern for you. I did compare this color to the spicy orange in store and this one is a bit darker. Just fyi because they look pretty similar on the website.... Show more

The Best Backpack
Fjallraven backpacks have been my favourite for years. I love their simple and minimalist design, yet they are very roomy and practical for day to day life. I have a spinal arthritis condition and they are the only bags, with their thin shoulder straps and fabric, that don't injure my back when I walk and for long distance travel. Their sustainability is also a must. Thanks Luggage.co.nz for your great selection and your outstanding customer service.... Show more
