The end result is a really beautiful gazebo. Unfortunate my husband and I are very much less than handy and can not follow direction all that well so we had a lot of steps to redo. For people who are even remotely handy assemble should be easy. We had a point in the assembly when we realized that the gazebo was going to be too big to fit inside our screened lanai (totally my fault for measuring incompletely.). Customer service was wonderful and offered to have the boxes picked back up with no restocking fee. This says a lot about the company and their dedication to customer satisfaction. We’re so incredibly fortunate to have found the Saxony XL grill gazebo from Backyard Discovery. The finished product is simply stellar. We love the cedar and metal stylings and the Saxony XL is ample enough to accommodate our Kamado Joe smoker plus our Napoleon Phantom grill. We opted for the professional installation from Backyard Discovery, which was totally awesome. Within a few hours we were able to enjoy this new addition to our home’s entertainment area. We added shatterproof Edison bulbs to the gazebo adding a fun party vibe. Truly, we could not be more pleased. Well done Backyard Discovery. This is an A+ for us.

From ordering to delivery to setup this is a great product. The material was high quality. The directions were actually decent. I do recommend that you read them through once, lay out parts and tools, and also when doing some of the middle steps look ahead then go back and do the step. I found this to help support what the end result would be on the current step. I would challenge the takes three hours! And having 3 friends is helpful. 4 to lift the roof. Lastly once assembled it is heavy and hard to move so be prepared. A great buy and product!

I'll admit that on arrival I was hesitant that all the pieces would become what I saw in all the pictures. Allow yourself some time and don't rush when putting it together. Brother in law and me put it together in about 6 hours. 4 hours on Saturday for the build and then 2 more on Sunday for final assembly. The quality is great and the pricing was right where I needed it. Would definitely buy another one and I highly recommend it if you are considering. Love my XL Grill Gazebo!
With prices of wood through the roof right now, a roof was out of my budget. With no protection over my charcoal grill, rain has been an issue. When I saw this at Sam's Club, I bought it immediately. The next day after assembling it, I was out there cooking some epic burgers during a very strong spring storm. Rain, thunder and lightning didn't affect my cookout at all. Assembly (for me) took 4 1/2 hours and I had to invoke the help of my wife and daughter a couple times, but it wasn't overly difficult. I would have given it 5 stars, but it didn't come with wood lag bolts for fastening to our aging deck. A trip to Lowe's remedied that. Plus, they only have 4 roof rafter brackets, and in my most humblest opinion, it should have had 6.

My wife found the Grill Gazebo, which perfectly fit our needs, and is the right size for our island and needs. I bought my grilling gazebo in July 2022. I’m not very mechanical, but I was able to assemble the structure and roof easily by following the detailed instructions that were included. I did need assistance in lifting the roof onto the frame at the end. The grilling gazebo was the final touch after adding additional patio paver space and a pool. It allowed me to move my grill and outdoor cooker off my patio and underneath the gazebo. It really gives our outdoor living space a feeling of completion.

After three years of replacing metal gazebos that just bent in the wind or rusted through the year it was time to make the bigger investment in a nice cedar gazebo. The construction recommends two adults, I took an entire day and did it by myself. I am 6 foot 2, 220 pounds and most of the construction was able to be completed safely with just myself. To place the roof on the top of the structure, You definitely need another adult of equal height and a ladder. For most of the process, you can get it done with just one person, but lifting the roof onto the top of the structure does require a second grown adult. I love the way it looks.
