Received my boots last week and have now worn them for a few days.First impressions of quality when unboxing was high. The boots are light yet feel well made with quality products. The boots are so easy to get on and off with the side zip. A great addition.Had countless pairs of boots over my working life( joiner ) and got to say these are the most comfortable I’ve ever worn. Even after a long day you don’t feel as though your feet are crying out to get the boots offA great product that I would recommend to anyone with a price that’s hard to beat.Had boots twice the price ( from very well known manufacturers ) that aren’t a patch on these.Love them and will come back again when needed

I really wanted to love these boots but sadly I can't. For some reason the right boot has a ridge running across the insole that sits directly across the ball of the foot. As a result it becomes increasingly painfull to walk on after about 30 minutes. The left boot is fine and quite comfortable. I'm guessing it occurred during manufacture and it maybe a one off and I'm unlucky. There is no Ridge in the left boot and as I said it's quite comfortable. I bought different insoles to see if that fixed it but its still there so must be the sole itself. I'm on my feet all day and walk over 20km a day in my job. So sadly this has made them useless to me.

There online sizing chart is way off, measuring my foot muiltple time an all my other work boots were a US 12 and going by there chart, I am a mens US 12 and they state an AUS 11 or UK 11 also calculated the extra 2cm need for room and still fell way short. They sit on my foot but after 3 day of wearing could not bear any more the toe protection rubs and you feel 3 inchs taller than normal, there is no movement in the material. In the end I had to purchased mongrel boots in AUS, in the same size they cost more but way better.Due to wearing the bad flights assuming they would wear in but no give at all and after 3 days and cause of wearing them I could not return as there policy states. So shopper beware If near a store try before you by and don't shop online ... MoreThere online sizing chart is way off, measuring my foot muiltple time an all my other work boots were a US 12 and going by there chart, I am a mens US 12 and they state an AUS 11 or UK 11 also calculated the extra 2cm need for room and still fell way short. So shopper beware If near a store try before you by and don't shop online expecting there size rating is correct.Thank you for your time.

I’m not really happy with the 2 pairs of boots I bought together.I wear work boots probably 80% of my work week. Beef production/HorticulturistHaving to wear thin socks to stop the top of my toes rubbing, plus my feet seem to move around more in these boots compared to the last 2 pairs of the same boots I have purchased. I have worn the black pair more than the tan pair at the moment.I have consulted my Podiatrist and she said not to wear them as they are rubbing my feet too much.I hope this can be fixed.I’m just sorry for giving bad feedback, as I was really looking forward to these boots after reading the other feedback you have on you website.Kind Regards,Josephine Newberry.
Ive worked in construction for going on 18 years and have worn nearly every boot on the market. I’ve dropped between $200-$300 on boots trying to find a pair that don’t mess up my knees or lower back as I’m wearing these things for at least 50 hours a week. When I saw these a year ago I gave them a year to see reviews and they were all quite positive. I wasn’t expecting much as they were only $100 but i thought I’d give them a go as my blue steels are wrecked. These are the best boots I’ve ever worn and I’m not rushing to take them off at the end of the day as they are actually really comfortable. I don’t usually review things and if I do I don’t write anything this thorough but I had to, to express my gratitude! Cheers and keep making them as I will be buying and ... MoreIve worked in construction for going on 18 years and have worn nearly every boot on the market. Cheers and keep making them as I will be buying and have already been spreading the word!If there’s one thing I would change on them it would be to make the Velcro strap stronger or turn it into a click button, as I can see it will be the first thing to wear away but i will get it replaced by a seamstress as these boots are amazing.CheersPauly
The boots stitching around the top of the zip is terrible, looks unfinished, and for the price I expected better.Terrible customer service, I won’t be buying again, I’ve ordered twice and twice I’ve had issues. They are also very slippery. And for work boots that’s a no go. I wouldn’t bother. For the price you can get proper work boots, and better quality. Also the waterproof hoodies have apparently been changed material , and it’s not even waterproof. Again for work it’s useless. Don’t waste your money.
I wear boots continuously when I'm at work and was attracted to the smart looks and belief there was an air sole which I though would be super comfy (like other know sports brands). When the boots arrived in fast time and I put them on, I noted that the heel was ultra hard and the design of the air cushion was useless as there are individual solid pillars inside the clear capsule. It's a gimmick and serves to provide very little cushioning. It's these internal non compressible pillars and on larger ball type block under the heel that you can see through the clear plastic liner which caused pain after a week of wearing the boots as my weight was not even dispersed. I've now developed plantar fasciitis as a result from these boots which is really disappointing. The fit around my foot in these is pretty good - I really like the arch support and the bouncy soles. It would be great if there was a true women's version with lower ankles as that is were most of the discomfort in shoes comes from for me, and I think for women in general as our ankle length is anatomically different to men's.Sadly the area where the boot meets the lining started fraying on the 3rd wear, and most of that wear was just from regular activity such as walking to catch public transport and going to class, not out in the field. After a few more wears I have noticed that the laces are starting to tear through the eyelets also.I am still wearing these a few weeks on as I don't live anywhere near a store to take them back, and they are now broken in and ... MoreThe fit around my foot in these is pretty good - I really like the arch support and the bouncy soles. I need to take them back because there is a good chance the laces will pull through at some point when it is least convenient, but I need boots safety boots in the mean time and they are pretty comfy while they are still holding together. It's a bit of a dilemma because I really don't want to break another pair in, but I also don't want to have broken boots.
Initially really impressed. Great service, delivered quickly. Very comfortable and offers great support to every part of the foot. I only purchase my boots 3 months ago The last 3 months of wearing these has made my 50hrs working week in them far more comfortable compared to others boots. But I’ve since discovered a flaw. The bubble in the heel, once that bursts the boot becomes very uncomfortable to walk in. Typically I work in and on construction sites, I don’t misuse my footwear and safety boots do take a beating but somehow the bubble in the heel has split and the experience of the boot has changed. I’m now in some discomfort in my knee due to the change of angle when the heel of my foot lands/placed on the floor when I move about. I think the bubble, albeit a ... MoreInitially really impressed. I think the bubble, albeit a great selling point for part of the boots comfort, is also a weak point and believe that the boot would benefit from designing the bubble out. I would love to buy these again but I cannot afford to change my boots every 3/4 months or just because my bubble has burst, such a shame.
Over all happy with the boots. As a 1 for 1 comparison with another pair of boots I bought the week earlier. At $150 above these boots. I average 18,000steps every day. Here is my review comparison BAD vs STEEL BLUE:Steel Blue-658 $240 - had to replace the inner soul with a work boot specific one, as heal strike was seriously uncomfortable, high fatigue rate (sore feet when moving, and when standing) even with the better inner soul. when driving with them, heal will go numb/ pins and needles, lots of walking still get heal blisters, with thick bamboo socks. (2 month total use, now only use them around the house)BAD Flight $99 - still using the supplied inner soul (will change it for a better comparison), heal strike is vastly better, and fore foot curved outer ... MoreOver all happy with the boots. (understanding most feet arent identical) only inner soul seems to be cut incorrectly as it doesnt form to the boot as well as the same spot on the other side. lower fatigue rate, no heal issues when driving etc. over all for $99 you cant realistically ask for more.
