Expected better from one of the better brands. No provision for locking the blade tensioner fixings in any orientation which allows the blade to twist when tightening up. A serious let-down and should be addressed by Bahco.

Bahco are a reputable brand for saws and i have several of their other products which have always been decent. Have only used once but coping saw is sturdy and well built with a nice sharp blade.

Great for skirting board cuts - though if you have a mitre saw cut the angle first, then the straight edge and use the saw to finish iff the fancy bit. Helps if you cut back slightly on an angle.

Easy to think that a coping saw is a coping saw and that the oldie picked up for a buck at some flea market is as good as a new one. Not true in the case of this Bahco. The frame is rigid enough to properly tension the blade, the grip is comfortable in the hand and the price is surprisingly low for a tool of evident quality. The proof is in the coping though. I had a house full of crown and baseboard molding to install and this saw (along with a quality US made aftermarket blade) allowed me to do the job faster, cleaner and more accurately than the angle grinder approach d'jour. This one needs to be in your toolbox.
Used for mostly scribing skirting board joints and does a good job. Feels nice quality with the wooden handle which loosens or tightens the blade.
Handy little saw - I used it for cutting out the waste for dovetail joints (less chiselling). I bought this one because it has a wooden handle. Everything goes into waste eventually, plastic probably never degrades, etc..
Itβs a coping saw and providing u have a vice or a G-cramp u can use it to cut quite intricate patterns, joints or other shapes in timber. It does what it says on the tin!
Bahco is always a name you can trust and it doesn't disappoint here. Really good coping saw, easy to manoeuvre around delicate cuts. Bought this to cut scribed joints for skirting boards. First class.
Arrived as expected. However the none handle end is difficult to move to a different plane, the handle loosens ok but again does not loosen the hold on the blade easily.
It's a coping saw with square section so it doesn't flex as much as a round section one. Cuts fine through MDF skirting and does the job it's intended to do. I thought the blade supplied may have been too coarse but it gave a smooth enough finish.
