I love Balega socks. I almost exclusively only wear them. These Hidden Comfort ones are my favorite. These latest ones I ordered with stripes feel a little less cushy. I wonder if Balega is doing some shrinkflation. I still love them though. The striped ones are especially cute. Sock Geek is great. Balega socks are on sale a lot. Timely shipping.

I always order from here and have been very happy with my purchases. Always fast service. Was pretty disappointed in the quality of this order. The toe seams are not smooth and the stitching sticks out on both sides. These cost way too much to have such poor toe stitching. The white ones were the worst. Perhaps it was a different manufacturer, not sure but definitely different than previous orders.

I’ve been wearing Balega Hidden Comfort for over a decade - I still have the same 2 pairs I originally bought and wear them weekly. The white doesn't stay white, but they have held up surprisingly well. One is getting a little threadbare under the ankle tab so I just see horizontal threads but there’s no hole. Love them so much I finally bought enough Balega socks to wear every day of the week. The low cut blister resist slips down, but the quarter and crew style work well. Hidden Comfort is still my favorite.I wore these for several OCRs like the Spartan Sprint and Beast where you get in and out of water with your shoes on, and I wear them with my low cut muck shoes trekking around the farm and working out in the garden and I never get blisters. With other socks, I always get blisters and hot spots easily, even with the same shoes.I hesitated buying more back when I first got them for $10 each, and seeing how well they’ve held up I think they are worth the current price today.Wish I had something like this when I was in the Army for those long days in boots.

I exclusively buy Balega socks. I usually go to the store (Sports Basement) where I can see and feel which ones I want. This time, I ordered online. Paid $16 a pair for the Hidden Comfort No Show's. What an absolute disappointment. These were no better than the average sock you get at a big box store. They weren't as cushioned as they were advertised and much thinner than I expected. While I will continue to buy Balega, I will no longer purchase on line.
Sock Geek was referred to me by a friend. I live in an area of South Florida where I am able to wear my Balega socks all year long. I rarely wear any other socks. I got on line, placed an order for a couple pair of replacements. Their price was the best I had seen and service was top notch. I got immediate confirmation and shipping details. My socks arrived a day earlier than expected! I know where my next purchase of my Balegas will be!
I have these and several colors. They are very comfortable and work well for most everything I do… From being active to relaxing. Some of the colors are more prone to shrink, especially the gray ones. Overall, these are very comfortable and wear well. When washing, I put them inside out. I either will dry on a low heat or air-out to dry. These socks are my favorite for all around uses. I will most likely get the calf height ones for cooler months and higher shoes/boots. His work great for low shoes of all types up to short boots.
I used to buy these pricey socks exclusively when I was a runner. I am no longer a runner and the socks I have been purchasing have been terrible, stretching out after two or three wears. Meanwhile, the few Balega socks that have been in my drawer for 15 years are still going strong. I got sick of spending money on cheap socks only to throw them out after a month, so I finally bit the bullet and bought some new good Balega socks. So far I have worn and washed these socks, a good dozen times and they are still like new. I forgot how good they were.
I swear by Balega socks and have made recommendations to other on the high quality, but sadly like most items in this world these days the quality is not the same. The socks are much thinner, slide around on my feet and can easily tell which sock is older due to its thickness and tighter weave.Sadly. I will not buy these socks again. They’re simply too thin and disappointing.
This is probably my 4th order thru SockGeek. Their service is absolutely great! My daughter is a long distance runner and prefers Balega socks. A couple of years ago she showed me her first pair of Balega, which were purchased around 2010. They were white but now they are grey, but still in good shape and still being worn. Since then every occasion, Christmas, her birthday, Easter I buy her another pair. But only recently did I try Balega (I have severe plantar fasciitis) and now I’m hooked. They are the only socks I wear.
I have worn the same Balega Hidden Comfort socks for over a decade. I usually order 15-20 pairs once a year. However, in this most recent order, all the sizes were off. I have been a large forever, and all the size large socks didn't fit the same way they have for the last decade. The manufacturing has changed. Not the same quality and fit standards. I will be looking for a new athletic/running sock.
