LOVE these socks! I am slowly replacing my old balegas with this style — the cushioning is perfect for wearing in my golf shoes and seem to be the only socks that protect my toes from hitting the top of the shoe. I also use them for running and they protect my feet from hot spots. Perfection!

Supportive, cushioned only where they need to be - my feet are blister prone and these are the bees knees. Never feel wet. Nice length at just below the ankle - love the tabs front and back so they don't slip down into the show - just need more colours ins tock.

I had one pair of these I purchased at REI some 3 years ago and I've loved them ever since and they held up great so I finally did some research and found them direct here and ordered 3 more pairs! These socks feel very premium and comfortable on the feet and I have done many 10+ mile runs with them with zero hot spots or blisters. Given that almsot any premium running socks cost $15-$20/pair I think the price point on these is spot on and as mentioned previously I have a pair that is over 3 years old and shows almost zero wear. Highly, highly recommend!
The socks are a good combination of thin and medium socks. They are thin enough to fit in most shoes, yet are thick where needed to provide padding. And, the very thick rolls at the opening of the sock ensure they never slide down into the shoe. They work equally well in running shoes and regular shoes. I tried one pair, and immediately bought 3 more. My only wish is that the bright green logo on the heel didn't show above the shoe when wearing them with regular shoes. Well, I will take comfort and performance over looks.

I wear a EEEE width running shoe. But as good a running shoe I buy, I still had a major problem with the big toe on my left foot. I even have a podiatrist trim the nail on that toe, but the inflammation continues to the point I would try toe spacers and cortisone cream. I saw the UltraGlide and decided to give them a try. But, from the beginning that toe pain went away. And the toe spacers are on the shelf. I surmised the socks were the problem the last 5 years. I immediately ordered more UltraGlide, of different colors so I could easily keep them in pairs. The fact that the left sock is made differently from the right sock must be the secret to the success for me. I am now doing my 5 miles every morning pain free. Hallelujah!
Splurge! You will not be sorry. these are truly the softest socks I have ever owned. No irritation at the toe seam. Not quite no show because of the tabs, but a little pink and purple showing, who cares?!
