After a trip to the beach and having severe sunburns I made sure to be prepared this time. I got this after sun gel with aloe Vera that was refreshing and relieved the pain for about 15 minutes. After drying my skin was soar again. I had to apply several times and spend more than half a bottle for a 5 day trip. Honestly would rather pay a little more for the lotion version, cause the gel doesn’t hydrates. It smells good and gives a momentum relief but that’s it. It’s good and does the work but not the best option for a long lasting relief

I had an outdoor volleyball tournament and wore absolutely 0 sunscreen because I’m an idiot but I got a reallllyy bad sun burn and I got sun poisoning (those yellow blisters). I put this stuff on those yellow blisters thinking maybe this will just calm them down. THIS COMPLETELY HEALED THEM. It took about 3-4 days of consistent use but when I tell you my skin has never felt more hydrated and healthy. This stuff is insane. I felt like I needed to leave a really good review because this was made by the gods. Lol imma wear sunscreen next time but still got this just in case

DON’T USE THIS ON YOUR FACE

I had gotten sunburned on my left cheek on my face and decided to use just a little bit of this gel and it felt good for a minute and then burned. Despite usually being very diligent about what I use on my face, I gave it a try since it said it was safe for the face. I didn't notice anything out of the ordinary until 3 days later when my left cheek was breaking out. This was not the typical type for my skin, there were little red bumps/ closed comedones and tiny white heads. It was definitely the gel because the area I was breaking out was only where I applied the gel. I will say I have sensitive skin, but even if you don't, I would strongly advise you to not put this on your face. The ingredient list should've been enough of a warning for me.

Do NOT use to treat sunburn

This product is literally adding alcohol to a fire. It immediately made my sunburn more painful and itchy. I thought that the main active ingredient was aloe. It turns out, the number one ingredient after water is alcohol. Alcohol irritates and dries out skin. This product should not be used to treat skin after sun exposure, including sunburns. Only buy it to torture your worst sunburnt enemy and only if you deeply hate them.

We began to smear it as promised that it would help relieve pain, cool and help from sunburn. We took the word for what the manufacturer of this product promises, which is soothing and cooling feeling after a sunburn. On the second day, the burn spot began to burn even more and while I was at work, my 17 year old continued to use this product throughout the day. The next day, the burn sites were swollen, the skin became darker color, and it was very difficult for her to walk and we were admitted to the hospital in the ER. Now my most important complaint to the manufacturer is why there is no warning on the product label or the word attention this product contains alcohol that can cause the greater skin burn! or this product should be dosed 3 times a day! Now I consider it my duty to tell everyone Be careful, try to replace this product with a better one, do not repeat our mistake! Do not buy this product!

Plus the packaging and sizes were perfect. over all good quality. i love the smell and the looks of it. im looking forward to purchasing another one!

NEVER AGAIN

I’ve probably only ever written one other review in my life but PLEASE listen to the negative reviews . I usually always read reviews first but this was given to me when I got burnt and didn’t have any . The first day I was completely fine however the 3rd day this stuff made me unbearably itchy . It’s been NINE hrs since I’ve applied it to my burn , two showers later and it’s STILL itchy . Save yourself from this feeling and try something else .

Second ingredient is literally for drying out skin

This deserves 0 stars. If you have a bad sunburn DO NOT use this product. After applying it graciously to only certain parts of my burns where it was the worst my skin started to sting and then after felt dry and tight. I looked at the ingredients and saw that ingredient number 2 is denatured alcohol which is used in cosmetics for drying out the skin… which is contraindicated in sunburns. I applied a different sunburn care cream on which has cetyl alcohol in it (which is fine on sunburns) and got instant relief and the tight dry feeling went away. Use Maui babe or Sunbum cool down lotion instead. It’ll save you the pain.

This was my only option at this store

I only got this because it had aloe in it (not a lot) and my granddaughter had a sunburn. It smells bad and I really didn't want something with all the added chemicals. If you don't mind a chemical bath, this is the product for you. It is full of crap that WILL enter your bloodstream transdermally (through your skin). I will be throwing most of this away or donating it to someone who doesn't care about their health. I will be getting something more natural.
