Banana Boat SPF 50+ Sunscreen Sport 200g

This is a fantastic sunscreen that is top quality. The Banana Boat brand always makes great products I know I can trust to keep my family's skin protected from the sun. The smell of this is faint and subtle, and not overwhelming, which is nice. This has a perfect texture that is not too thick or too thin. It dissolves into the skin easily, and does not leave a weird chalky look to your body, like some sunscreens do. I like that it is free of certain typical chemicals that may not be good for me. I love the little grippy grooves on the sides of the bottle, which make it easier to squeeze and apply. I would highly recommend this sunscreen if you want to have the maximum protection for any given situation.

IT IS GREAT. It has a pleasing smell to it, I had no sunburns or anything. Some cons would be that it is a bit pricey online but at my local stores you can find them for much less, conveinent prices. I used this sunscreen daily this summer on my kids and myself. My kids go for swimming lessons, they have a dark skin. This sunscreen leaves a white cast, not too terrible though. I tried Banana Boat spf 30 lotion and that one doesn't work well, the skin of my kids turns red. This sport sunscreen is better comparing to that one. The label says it's water-resistant, I think it is but not too much because I still see sunscreen water streaks dripping from my kids face when they're coming from the pool.

Awful

In all my 35 years of life I've had one mild little burn many years ago when I used an expired sunscreen of another brand....UNTIL NOW! I used both the 30 and 50+ sport while in Mexico for three days and ended up with an allergic reaction and burns that are now peeling all over my chest, shoulders and back thanks to this product. The redness and swelling has gone down on my legs and arms and stomach, but what an uncomfortable flight home. Also, spending my money on antihistamines and aloe was a great way to end my little vacation. I am outside all the time and have a lovely complexion, I turn a dark olive-tone brown, and hold a tan for months. I regularly take trips to hot locations. Best sunscreen on my tattoos

I've been using this particular spf 100 for years now and can confidentiality say it is the only sunblock I have ever used where none of my tattoos even get close to burning and visibility get less tan than the rest of me.My one shoulder is visibly lighter than the side I use 50/70 on and I can feel when it's starting to wear off because suddenly the sun feels hot on those spots.Highly recommend if you're prone to burning or like going to beach and have tattoos. It is very thick compared to others and a little does not go a long way but once it's rubbed in, it's in.Only complaint is it's becoming difficult to find in stores.

Great product! I like it! The packaging is okay, the size is not small, it came sealed in transparent plastic. With daily use for one person for a month, I think it should be enough. As for the product itself: it is absorbed well, does not leave white streaks or spots; the smell is somehow tropical-floral, but unobtrusive, and after application it is almost not felt, and after 15 minutes it disappears altogether. The big advantage of this lotion is that it is water and sweat resistant (but that doesn't mean you don't need to reapply it every 2 hours, especially if you shave in the sun!) A big plus is that this lotion has SPF 50+, which is also a bonus to protect your skin. The composition of this product is also good - no parabens, phthalates, or other chemicals ... MoreGreat product! I like it! Only sunscreen that doesn't smell or feel like one

This has always been my sunscreen ever since I discovered it. Unlike other sunscreens, it is not sticky-dry nor do I end up smelling like I am going to the ocean. There are gimmicky high end sunscreens, but I find that this is still the best one. Even mineral sunscreens feel uncomfortable and has a strong scent. This feels like more like a soft lotion.

Severe reaction

I just got home from a beach trip where I used this sunscreen. For the last few days of the trip and after returning home I have a poison Ivy- like reaction all over my body. I have severe reactions to poison Ivy that limits me from eating certain foods; cashews, pistachios, plums, and mangos. I checked the ingredients and didn’t see any of these things listed. A lot of skin products are now using mango oil as a fragrance ingredient. I’m wondering if banana boat has started using it as well. On their packaging it just lists “fragrance” as an ingredient. Ive tried looking all over the internet to figure out what “fragrances” are used but I have found nothing. Companies that don’t list their fragrance ingredients put my life at risk. The only sunscreen I buy

I burn real easy (redhead) and I LOVE this sunscreen. It definitely is thick and makes you pasty but it’s been the most reliable sunscreen. I re-apply early as I burn easily but even with early re-application, other sunscreens don’t protect me nearly as well. I’m happy it’s now reef safe too! Do note, if you’re sensitive to textures the thickness of the sunscreen may throw you off. It also just smells like sunscreen- nothing special.
