Bandai PG Unleashed 1/60 RX-78-2 Gundam
The accumulation of development and evolution during 40 years of GUNPLA history leads to a new era. PG RX-78-2 Unleashed features the largest insert-molded frame in Gunpla history - which enables the fastest assembly of the inner frame for a PG in history. The inner frame features a multi-layer structure - adding incredible detail and realism. The highest number of articulation points in a GUNPLA is featured, with a total of 94 points of articulation. Diverse materials such as parts processed in matte and chrome plating, metal parts, and newly developed photo-etch is used to create an awe inspiring appearance that exceeds the concept of plastic model kits. Magnet mechanisms in the shield have been incorporated for the first time in gunpla history. A new full-color LED unit has been made to recreate activation scenes. LED is also featured in the Beam Saber and backpack. Incorporates 53 hatch opening gimmicks throughout the body to recreate realistic maintenance scenes, the most in history of GUNPLA.

Took about a week to build. Loved every second of it. Only one piece needed to be glued. Greatest kit bandai has made so far!

Great kit. Really perfect on so many levels. The only thing where it falls short is the lighting gimmick. You only get one LED light saber, and you need it to light up the backpack. Another nitpick would be the opening hatches that still don't show the inner workings well. You definitely need to buy the Clear Armor for this kit.

RX-78-2 has always been my favorite looking for a decent price especially on a PG unleashed was a challenge. Especially if you missed out on the first round but I hold out for a week to find the best price and succeeded. It came in mint condition the 2nd best part.

it is a easy build, but so much detail and you will enjoy every clicks of putting the kit together, the only shame is you have to cover the inner frame with the armour....i need to set i think...Well done Bandai
