Great headphones, very comfortable with excellent sound, noise reduction qualities, stunning battery life and some nice features.Someone else has commented that they had problems with the headphones cutting out and initially I thought I had the same problem with the sound pausing unexpectedly but then I read the instructions and it tells you to turn on the headphones whilst holding them and not on your head. I assume this allows the sensor to know when they are off. Bingo no more problems and it's great to know you can slip the headphones off and they pause immediately without having to do anything. These B&O on ear headphones are highly recommended and whilst bigger than my previous Sennheiser on ear travel headphones are better quality, always attach easily and ... MoreGreat headphones, very comfortable with excellent sound, noise reduction qualities, stunning battery life and some nice features.Someone else has commented that they had problems with the headphones cutting out and initially I thought I had the same problem with the sound pausing unexpectedly but then I read the instructions and it tells you to turn on the headphones whilst holding them and not on your head. Waste of money, cheaply made. The sound is appalling, high background noise. Besides they are very fiddly to set up and the controls setup is one of the most unintuitive things you will come across. Also the cushions are too small so the headphones are very uncomfortable to wear.I would give them zero stars if i could, there is much better gear out there for half the price (Sony)

I’ve had these headphones for about a year and a half and have used them nearly everyday, so I’ve got an idea. First of all, the build quality is next to none. They are built absolutely great. The leather is nice and easy to clean, the head band feels great around your head and holds the headphones secure. The battery life is also amazing! They charge fast and stay charged all day. They’ve never died on me. Every song you listen to is base heavy and you can hear absolutely everything in the song. Things you can’t hear with other speakers or other headphones. It’s Crystal clear and organic sound. My ONLY complaint is the volume. I wish they went up a tad more! You get used to it after while. Other than that they are AMAZING! I used the app on the Apple app store called Boom to play with an equalizer and make these headphones even better. You can also download the B&O app and tune the headphones to your liking. It’s music unlike anything. I tired Beats Studio (which sucked!!!) Bose over ear headphones and Sony. None of them come close to this one. Yes, the B&O Beoplay’s are more expensive I know but you get what you pay for. The quality is 10/10, the box is super amazing, the charge is 10/10, the volume is 9/10 and the sound is 1,000,000/10 compared to an overall 5/10 from the Beats and maybe a 6/10 for Bose & Sony. These are an overall 10/10. Truly a million dollar sound out of these. I would highly recommend you invest in these. They pay for themselves after the first use.

I tried those for a couple of days and when working I loved them. They have a beautiful finish with premium materials being used. They sound was excellent but sadly in the end I had to return them. They kept on dropping Bluetooth connection. I only ever planned to use those indoors so I never disturbed others when watching films my iPad or music on my phone.I even saw a YouTube clip suggesting you put your phone in your right pocket so the connection works better.I have Apple EarPods and not once in all the time have I lost Bluetooth connection in the eight months or so I’ve had them. As I say these are beautiful but sadly has to go back.As usual Very were brilliant and refunded me quickly.
I have some cheap Philips bluetooth headphones which ended up being very long lived and really useful. But they weren't sound isolating. I have a neighbour who bangs the walls and plays his TV at full volume in the window (mentally ill I think though the police disagree and he has been arrested a few times). So these completely take out the sound of the neighbour. I can stand three feet from my washing machine on full spin and barely hear itThey are nicely made and quite comfortable if a little heavy. They are a tad too much on the bass side and a tad not sufficiently present for vocals, but I have electrostatic HiFi speakers so maybe it's what I'm used toI'm pleased I bought them
Whilst expensive these are a great set of headphones - and almost certainly the best set of on-ear noise cancelling headphones out there. The sound signature is warm yet lively with plenty of extended bass (although not overpowering), and can easily be tuned to your personal preferences using the ToneTouch EQ in the B&O Play app.In comparison to the Bose QC35 II the noise cancelling is very good. There is marginally more audible hiss with no sound playing, but in terms of overall performance it is very good indeed. There is also noticeably less pressure on the ears created by the ANC compared to the Bose, although this in part might be down to the on-ear design.Comfort wise, these are great. The soft lambskin padded ear cushions feel like pillows and the clamping force feels about right. Given the on-ear design these aren't going to be as comfortable over longer periods compared to over-ear designs, but they do feel great. For people who don't like the enclosed feeling over-ears sometimes create, these headphones are a great choice. The proximity detection which automatically pauses and plays music as the headphones are removed or worn seems to work reliably with no dropouts or random pauses. The bluetooth connection has proved to be very stable with good range. Importantly for Apple device owners, native AAC codec support works well and sounds great. In terms of other features, pretty much everything you could ask for: USB-C charging, Transparency mode, and the ability to switch ANC on or off quickly without needing to delve into the app settings.Minor complaint - for the price it would have been nice to get a protective hard case rather than the soft bag.
I purchased these because of the value of them now and the fact theyre B&O and never bought a B&O product before (usually Beats, Bower&Wilkins). Firstly, they are quite big so you might feel self conscious wearing them outside, but that might be because my previous headphones were a lot smaller. Now the good bits. Super comfortable, the noise cancellation is excellent (switch it on when Son playing Fortnite and shouting!), the app is easy to use and navigate too. The sound is excellent and rich, not tinny, not bassy, just perfect really. They dont seem really secure on my head so definitely no good for running etc. Overall Im very pleased. I paid less than 200 for them and very pleased.
These headphones sound amazing, look amazing and feel amazing. So far so good...But there is one major flaw - the proximity sensor is FAR too sensitive, meaning the headphones pause at random times. I have now tried two different pairs, as I thought it might be a fault with the first one, but it happens with the second as well. It's seriously frustrating. The John Lewis technical support said that this was a safety feature, so when you're crossing the road for example you're not distracted, but it turns itself off even when you're walking down the street without turning your head. Arghhh! Both sets returned, and I'm going to go for a pair without the proximity sensor. If I was you I would do the same.
My Bang & Olufsen H8i Noise Cancelling Earphones purchase was my Christmas present to myself. I have suffered some hearing loss with age and, while it is not a big deal in most circumstances, I have found the occasional miss of dialogue in TV programs frustrating. In concert with a Sennheiser Audio Transmitter bought at the same time my problem has been solved: rich, crisp clear sounds with no background noise. The added benefit is the ability to mute the TV sound when using the headphones so as not to disturb my wife when she's reading or having an early night. I am very happy with the products.
Pros. The Headphones are like putting pillows on your ears..the softest and most comfortable headphones I've ever owned. The noise cancelling for the most are as advertised... Cons. The instructions, (if you want to call them that) are VERY subpar at best... The bluetooth function doesnt want to stay on, which I'm probably doing something wrong...which goes back to the very minimal instructions.. I'm pretty tech savvy, but these are the worst as far as not knowing which button controls what function... Very disappointed customer, Michael
