The liquid does work very well on small items if you pour it into a plastic cup and let the items sit in it. My husband is a science person and he did point out that you should NOT leave things sitting in this solution too long because it will erode surfaces due to the acid. All in all this works very well, but you need to know what you are using it for, and how best to use it.

This is amazing, I love it. I use this for my stove and sink and it leaves it nice and shiny and looks brand new. This removes all gunk off of things and it's much better than any other brand I know. This was my first time using the liquid one, I have always used the powder, but I honestly love the liquid one.

Bar keepers friend is not only a fair dinkum mate to bar keepers but I can honestly say in the past week he's become of my best pals, if he had a Facebook page I would be sending him a friend request. You see I have had a build up of soap **** on my shower glass for sometime and well I thought it was time to tackle it. My ceramic cook top has many nice features. But it gets dirty every time I use it. The cooked on grease won't come off with a simple cleaning with the dish soaped wash cloth. I have to use a product. I have loved Bar Keepers Friend cleanser for years. It cleans things like rust better than any other product I've used. So, of course, I figured the cooktop cleaner should do the job. And it does! It isn't magic. There is still elbow grease required, but I get a satisfying result. The cooktop sparkles and shines when I am finished. It cleans the most difficult cooked on residue. I am a loyal fan of Bar Keepers Friend.
Someone told me Bar Keepers Friend "Cooktop" Cleaner worked well cleaning the glass in shower doors. I did some research and found that it outperformed other types of cleaners in a couple of informal studies. I tried using our standard cooktop cleaner and it did an okay job but not great. So I bought this product and tried it. With a stiff nylon brush, Bar Keepers Friend easily cleaned the scum off of my shower glass and even the fiberglass. I'll never use any other type of cleaner designed for cleaning bathrooms again.
I have used Bar Keeper's Friend for my sink for years and was happy to see that they have a cooktop cleaner too. It does not disappoint. The grime come off with minimal scrubbing and rinses easily. My husband would have to use a razor blade to clean it. I tried another brand of stove cleaner, vinegar and baking soda, all the options I could find online but still had a circle on the outer edges of the Ultra heat burners that only a razor could get off. I used this on my glass cooktop and it left rainbow spots on one of the burners. I can't get them off. My stove top is now ruined from using a cleaner that's supposed to be safe to use on the glass cooktop. Don't buy this!
