There are some spots of the lawn where just too much root is present and it's hard to cut over. But I did quite a bit very easily and my lawn hasn't been edged in years. It seems like a well made, sturdy piece of equipment. I had been looking for something like this for awhile and am glad I ordered it.

This is a manual edger that works well, more so along a sidewalk than the edge of my paved driveway. I maintain both my own lawn and my daughter’s lawn so this adds to my workout, which keeps my doctor happy! But seriously, this edger works well for its intended use and makes a pretty clean cut even if I do have to go back and forth in places.

I used it to edge by my driveway and sidewalk. It created a nice straight edge. I won't say it takes no effort to use this, but it takes considerably less than using an edging blade like I usually do. I like that it's manual and not a power tool so I don't have to run a power cord. This is a really nice product- well made and quite useful.

The edger was easy to assemble, just had to screw the handle together and you're good to go in less than a minute. The edger is not too heavy and easier to maneuver.Since it's manual, sometimes you have to use a little elbow grease, but I was able to clear the edges of the sidewalk in no time! I was shocked by how easy and satisfying it was to use this edger! Makes me kinda want to go edge the whole neighborhood lol
this tool is best used for regular edge maintenance. Then it’s just a quick roll of the tool along your edges to keep the grass at bay. If you haven’t edged in a long time and have significant grass and root growth over the edges, you might first want to use a more traditional bladed tool that you press or stomp into the ground to slice through the overgrown sod. This rotary tool WILL cut through that sod as well, but you will need some elbow grease and you’ll likely get a good workout in the process.
I liked this edger. It worked great and had my edges military crisp. Many compliments from my neighbors on my lawn edges then it broke. I’m hoping that I had a lemon, it happens. My thanks to Amazon for authorizing a full refund after the thirty day return was over. I’m getting another.
Easy to assemble. No tools needed. Make sure to tighten it up good. My edges weren’t that clean but it was quite overgrown. It takes some upper body strength the use the edger. The handle is very long so it is perfect for any height. This edger won’t fail me like my electric and gas ones have. And I get a workout!
Works really well. I bought this one because of the steel (not aluminum) wheel. The variable height is a nice option. Our soil has a lot of clay in it, so having the grass wet before using this tool is highly recommended. It does take a bit of work (no surprise) but nothing crazy. Very pleased with the purchase. Recommended.
This tool fits our needs perfectly. The roller edge makes it easy to gilde along the sidewalk while you cut away those rogue strands of grass and weeds. I do worry about the plastic roller coming apart one day, but so far it has done us no trouble. So happy that we do not need to buy an expensive powertool to get nice clean edges in our yard.
I was a little disappointed in the lightweight quality of the extension pole. I have only used it twice, I can’t attest to the longevity of the blades but suspect they will need sharpening every season. I expect 2-3 years of regular use, which it totally worth this at this price point!
