Stumbled on Barbell at our Dentist of all places - Eric Davis Dental. He sells this stuff on his front counter! We brought a large bag and the kids and I ate it within 20 minutes. We're an animal based diet family - I thought I'd tried every brand of jerky and biltong available and still hadn't found a 'delicious' one that the kids loved (by delicious I mean fatty, chewy, tasty & good eco credentials). Well now we've found it and we'll never stop eating this stuff. I brought a giant box of all the different styles (ie over a thousand dollars worth) and it's now the mainstay in the kids lunchboxes every day. In a nutshell Barbell is an enviro loving carnivore's dream product!

Amazing! We try as a family to eat grass fed, sustainably raised animal protein both for ethical and health reasons as we are in a position where we can’t hunt for ourselves at the moment. The benchmark biltong is perfect for us adults as it has just spicy enough to keep us from going mad and over eating it and to keep the 2 year old and 11 month old from stealing it (we buy the carnivore sea salt jerky for them). The portion sizes in the benchmark biltong boxes are perfect (I mean who only eats 30g of jerky at a time 🙄) and I feel great supporting a small family and friend run, Australian business!
Love the classic flavour, and hubby likes the sea salt. So we have to get both! And lots of it! This stuff is so good. Melts in your mouth. We love our deliveries!
Having grown up in South Africa and sampled many different varieties of biltong, this biltong is by far the best & we just love the chilli one in particular as do our Aussie grandchildren! They also love the meat sticks. Ordering is very easy & delivery is super quick too. Highly recommended!

I first ran across Barbell Biltong when the only place you could buy it was direct from the makers at Canberra markets. Was so pleased to find it in the shops and by mail order when I moved to North Queensland. Great alternative to tuna if you're following a high protein eating plan, top addition in 2 minute noodles. Flavourful with heat levels to suit all tastes.
