My daughter loves everything Barbie. This playset is ideal for her role playing and lots of imaginary play. The mini Barbie with her long pink hair is adorable. The perfect size for my daughter. You also get clothes, shoes and she loves all the accessories including the mirror, clothes rack and hangers. I love the cute carrying case which holds everything inside. It has a handle for easy transporting to take to Grandma's for the weekend. A must have for all Barbie fans. Highly recommended.

My 10 year old daughter was given this as a gift and liked it as she called it a “fashion doll” and not a Barbie. She is already out of the age of wanting a regular Barbie but this one, she actually didn’t mind receiving as it’s more geared towards the older girls with the design and characteristics of the toy. She likes all the accessories it came with and was dressing the Barbie and putting the clothes on it’s rack and did not want to share it with her younger sister which is a good sign she was enjoying it. I think this can work for kids even past the age of 10 and definitely younger as well as my 5 year old was also playing with it and enjoying it too. My child is six years old and is really into everything Barbie. We tend to go to a lot of places and unfortunately, her regular Barbie stuff isn’t really travel friendly, even though we have come up with many different ways. Anyhow, this works for that nicely besides a great addition to her collection. I love how this comes with a lot of different things and so did she. The doll itself moves a lot different than a regular typical Barbie as well. This is like a modern version of a Polly Pocket so to speak just larger. The doll is cool and has long hair and many fashions. The carry case is a little play studio.I can’t say enough about this, but I would highly recommend getting this set because it will definitely be a favorite for your child and keep them busy l.
The kids have been home from school and this play set has been keeping them occupied! The doll is the perfect size for them to interact with & it has a ton of articulation. A lot bigger then I expected as well. The accessories it comes with is always a plus, imaginations can run wild! Unlike most dolls, this one comes with its own carrying case! Helps a lot when it comes to storing everything away when it’s done being played with without any of the pieces being lost. The fact that it’s extremely colorful and detailed is what draws their attention the most. Lightweight but durable. Something extremely easy to take with you if you’re ever on the go!
The biggest reaction from my daughter came from exploring all of the accessories. She was thrilled that her set came with so many things to dress her doll up with during play. I thought that the size of the doll was perfect for her age, as she's moving away from some of the smaller dolls and just now getting into Barbie. This playset could easily be a first for a child new to Barbie or a great addition to a child who already has a Barbie collection started. The fact that everything fit inside of the playset made this particular one great for storage and transportation. When asked what she liked about the playset, my daughter smiled and said, "I like the dolls hair. It's pink!".

This Barbie Extra Minis Doll and Boutique Playset was well received by the little one, who is 3. However there were some issues. For one, a 3 year old has problems putting on the various articles of clothing on the doll (shoes and dresses particularly). The kit could use a few more hangers for the clothes. Also the stick that the Barbie attaches to needs a lot more strength to put into it's holder than a child has. The kit is great if there's an adult helping the 3 year old, but alone there would be a lot of frustration. On the plus sides, there is a lot of color and many items to keep the child's attention. It's also compatible with other Mini Barbie Dolls. She does enjoy playing with all the pieces.
