Good or bad? Truth be told I can't recall how I felt about this the very first time I tried it several months back, when purchasing bareMinerals original powder foundation. I only remember the lady in the store trying this on me shortly after the foundation. Recently curiosity got the best of me, and after doing a little research online, I was keen to try it again. Warmth comes in a little pot, slightly smaller than the foundation size, and has a twist & screw cap which allows you to tap some product into the lid. Again, with bareMinerals you only need the smallest amount of product, otherwise, you risk the color building up too heavily. The powder itself is a golden chestnut shade with a satin finish, and it really does compliment my skin tone nicely. Like all other bareMinerals products, it is completely free of preservatives, nasties etc, which makes this little product a new favorite of mine. I find this can be used throughout the year, even just over my natural moisturized skin. Warmth is definitely unique, and one I will be happy to repurchase.~ My Sephora Top 7 must-have list ~(My top 7 must-have beauty products of all time, focusing mainly on my purchases at Sephora)1. Bare Minerals All over Color Bronzer in the shade Faux Tan has been a staple in my make-up routine for well over a decade. I love how versatile this product is in the sense that one can use an angled brush and a small amount goes a long way. I highly recommend adding a lighter shade of loose powder into the cap of the Bare Minerals Faux Tan Bronzer until you acheive a shade that looks natural for contouring or bronzing alike. There are a few specs of glimmer, but they hardly show. I would describe this as a radiant loose powder with A LOT of pigment. If you're finding it to chalk up over liquid foundations, spray setting spray or a mist of your liking onto a beauty sponge and blend it into your skin using a stilling motion. I highly recommend this product, but please remember that it's meant to be blended with other powder products and not used straight out of the bottle or you may experience a very harsh effect. Otherwise it's so gorgeous! They do have the same product in the shade warmth, but I just love how Neutral the Faux Tan shade is whereas the shade Warmth seemed to only have warm undertones, but still pretty! I prefer the Faux Tan, but I add the Original Bare Minerals Foundation in 'Fairly Light' into the cap of the 'Faux Tan' and apply it as a bronzer where the sun would naturally hit my face. If I choose to go a tad darker, I will use that for a bit of contouring/shaping of my cheeks in the most subtle way, so I only make it a touch darker. What a gorgeous product!

Like many others, BareMinerals Original Loose Mineral Foundation was the first makeup I ever wore growing up.Now that I am in my late 20s I thought I would try BareMinerals mineral foundation again. Because of my skin type I decided to try the Matte formula over the original. And wow. It's lovely. Even better than I remember since I now know how to correctly apply it. Feels great on my skin, not heavy, and lasts ALL day. I am able to achieve a beautiful natural result or buld it up to glam, and both look like healthy skin. I love to apply it with their Beautiful Finish Foundation Brush - it's a must!I also use their Loose Powder Concealer (aka my new holy grail for blemishes). A little goes a long way. Formula change?

Something just isn't quite the same. I've been using the original foundation since the early 2000's. I have always credited this product with clearing up my sensitive skin. I also told everyone how great the buildable coverage is. However, I've noticed that recently my skin gets so inflamed when I apply the foundation. I have little bumps, almost like a rash, that pop up all over my cheeks and forehead. I didn't think it could be BareMinerals until I had to take.a short break from using it when I couldn't find my shade. I switched over to Tarte's Amazonian clay foundation and the breakouts stopped. I've had my 14yo daughter wearing BareMinerals and we could not figure out why her cheeks constantly have tiny little pimples whereas before her face was clear! I guess there has been a change in this formula and it's not a good one. I really hate that I can't use it anymore because it was my favorite for so long.

This is the best stuff I’ve ever used, and I’ve been using this foundation for I think 5 years now. I use this almost every day, too. When quarantine started and I stopped wearing this stuff, my skin actually broke out!! And as soon as I started using it again and I developed a better skincare routine, my skin was even better than before. Combined with a good moisturizer used beforehand, this creates a beautiful natural glow. This foundation covers just what you need it to while still allowing freckles to show through. I also have very light skin, so I got the lightest shade and it fits my tone perfectly. I also notice that if I go without it my skin can become quite oily throughout the day, but this foundation keeps it balanced and soft to the touch. Also, if you have a pimple or large spot you want to cover up, you can use a fine tip brush or just your finger tip to dab it onto said problem area, let it sit for a bit, and then brush it slightly and it’ll be covered almost completely. This cleared my skin, brightened it, and just made it even more beautiful. Plus the SPF is great, too

My favorite foundation

Sooo a few things:1. I had a hard time figuring out which shade would be the best for me, but after trying 2 that were clooose, but not quite right, I found the perfect color for me. I love the foundation 100x more now, so I would encourage you to find the perfect shade before judging it2. I’ve been tearing my hair out trying to find a base foundation that doesn’t make my face look like an oil slick. I’ve always struggled with extremely oily skin and no matter what combination of primers, foundations and setting sprays I use, no thing works and it’s been getting to a point where I’ve been sick to death. I decided to try a powder foundation and started with this one and wow! Usually I put make up on and within an hour my face feels wet, sticky and just looks like you could fry an egg on it. But with this I found that the oil didn’t come through until the evening. Really impressed! I would have given five stars but I honestly feel like for the price the size of the pot is a bit of a joke. Shocked and Surprised!
1 May 2023

I am blown away and so surprised by this product! I must admit, I was a little concerned about using a loose powder foundation instead of my usual liquid options. Firstly, it applies so easily with minimal mess, and just blends into the skin so beautiful. My skin looks absolutely flawless and so radiant and glowy (another surprise). It feels so lightweight and blurs my skin to perfection. I recommend starting small and building up to your desired coverage which is totally possible and easy to do! Also, please ensure your skin is prepper and hydrated before you apply. I used the brands Beautiful Finish Brush and it works like a dream. My skin looks healthy, flawless, and perfected. My new obsession for sure!

Why didn't I try this sooner?!?

I wanted to pick up a foundation to even out my skin tone and give me a fresh natural look. This works perfectly and is really easy to use (I picked up the bareMinerals Beautiful Finish Brush to use with this). As a person who wants to look 'natural' not 'perfected' I don't mind this but think it's worth mentioning for others. I also have acne prone combo skin, and sense that this may not be the best choice for folks with dry skin.
